Did they ever tweak the code for runners taking off immediately on wild pitches and passed balls that do not roll far from the plate?

GAMEPLAY

• Fixed an issue that would trigger a pitcher ejection on a pitch on the inside part of the plate.
• Fixed an issue that would result in the 2nd baseman not immediately being able to throw after catching a ball from the catcher during a steal or rundown attempt. (specific to Button Accuracy)
• Fixed a specific occurrence where the catcher would not attempt to tag a runner crossing home plate.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Fixed two Road to the Show freezes that could occur during manager interactions.
• Fixed an issue in Road to the Show that was preventing a Closing Pitcher (at the MLB level) from adding a new pitch.
• Camera adjustments in Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome to prevent obscured camera views behind home plate.
• Minor UI adjustments.

Pitchers can get ejected? In franchise MoM, I saw a pitcher hit 3 out of 4 batters and never got ejected. When did ejections get added?

Ejections have been in the game for a while.

They only occur for the user and you have to deliberately aim the pitch cursor at the batter and hit them for an ejection to take place.

And here I thought the inability to add a pitch to a closer was a conscious decision on SDS's part.

I don't know if it was the patch but playing in season 4 on MOM after 160 played games I had my first in game injury. I've had pregame notices on injuries but this one happened in the game. It was a liner up the middle off Mike Miners head. Got a pop up notice that he was hurt. Had to pull him in 2nd inning and after the game he was placed on IL with a black eye

Something definitely happened with this patch. My outfielders can't field!

For example: I'm pitching. Batter gets a base hit to right field...instead of fielding it, right fielder runs toward the ball and the ball just kicks off the fielder and bounces away causing the base runner(s) to advance. This is happening MULTIPLE TIMES PER GAME where it seems like everything is all lined up and the outfielders just have the ball nail them and roll away. I'm the Yankees, by the way, so we're talking about Hicks, Judge, Gardner, etc...not poor defenders out there, either.

I'm also giving up a massive amount of home runs. At least 5 per game.

Also what roster are you using. I had created a franchise roster out of the last update and the game played horribly. I was having this exact problem. I thought it was that my slider had been changed, which they had, but then I replayed the month and the same thing happened. One game I gave 9 HR's in one game. If this had been the norm, I would have no problem but all of this was a drastic and quick occurring anomaly. I went back to my default franchise and gameplay returned to it previous levels.

This is of course just my experience and I am happy with my current franchise and numbers. It was just an experiment on my part that I now consider a fail.
