I just lost my second Seasons game 2-1 (in a row) to teams that had 99s, Piazza, Cobb, Billy Wagner, Ripken Jr, Griffey Jr, and a few I know you get as rewards for leveling up (like the 99 Tony Gwynn).
Almost every player on the 2 teams are worth a total of well over a million stubs. I have signature series cards and play them, but nowhere near the amount, or level that players in the last few games have had.
I was going to buy a pack bundle (I've got a little over 40k in stubs saved) because there isn't really anyone worth buying to me. My OF is crowded enough, and my infield has sog series Frank Thomas/Brandon Phillips/Ozzie Smith/Matt Carpenter (though Carpenter is meh, I've been replacing him with Anthony Rendon against lefties). I've got Gwynn, Garrett Anderson, Christian Yelich, Cody Bellinger, and Acuna Jr (along with a few low 90s diamond players).
I'm looking to make some upgrades, but I refuse to drop 70-100 bucks to purchase players.
It's kind of ridiculous that these teams have 99s 1-9 in the batting order, and then have 99s in the rotation, AND the bullpen. I love the game, but it's not really fun when you're teams rated 93, and you can barely scratch a run across because you're playing a super team.
