Looking at the “market” there is supposed to be an Asics elbow pad and another pair of Oakleys as well. Hope this gets fixed at some point Friday. The day 1 roster is so good I could start my franchise now.

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
Hopefully the day 1 patch comes tomorrow and not the 5th. I don’t know when these things are usually released.Comment

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
Agreed…never understood why they don’t leave in cleats from previous years…build up an inventory/options for users…don’t expect the shows shoe game to be on par with 2k but they could do better than thisComment

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
I'm cautiously optimistic that some sort of early update will address at least some of these omissions. There are just too many equipment items that were present in trailers that aren't in-game. Plus, this affects RTTS/Ballplayer users too, so it's not just OS-types that'll be complaining about this.

With how nice other areas of MLB 22 are (ex. presentation), it'd be a real shame if equipment did end up being a downgrade.
For awhile, I was one of these people who couldn't have cared less about authentic equipment in sports games, but I've become kind of obsessed over the last 5-6 years.MLB: San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics (Sell The Damn Team, Fisher!)

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
SSK equipment is completely gone, cleats are bare minimum, fielding gloves that no one wears, 1 pair of Oakleys, missing catcher gear and you cannot change the 2nd color on and arm sleeves. Hope this all gets fixed in a patch.

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
2nd color on arm sleeves is something that 21 really lacked in the equipment side, seeing the edit menu is exactly the same i doubt this will be added, unfortnatly.
Anyways its concerning the lack of equipments this year, lets really hope a day 1 patch solves it.---------------

As far as Nike/Jordan catchers equipment....I'm not super hopeful at the moment....weird that it was shown a number of times in streams/trailers and was in the tech test, but not in at launch. I have no idea how their agreements with these brands work, just strange that they obviously still have the rights to use other Nike equipment and obviously the jerseys as well.
Probably a long shot, but one of the first DD programs is a "Nike City Connect" program to earn the City Connect uniforms for your team, so **maybe** Nike catchers equipment will be a reward along the way in the program, and then it will be available for offline stuff as well?? IDK...that would be a weird approach. I'm sure we will get some new stuff along the way. They have patched in quite a few new equipment items over the years
Anyway....Asics, Chandler, Warstick and 100% Sunglasses are big gets. Just strange that the cleats are so bare at the moment as those are pretty important items that affect every playerChicago Cubs
Michigan Wolverines

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
Youre right, those are just a copy of the old black throwbacks (which are also listed as Alternate Throwback or something like that, yes u have the same uniforms listed 2 times in the Mets options) lol---------------
