I'm not looking forward to this daunting task. Which roster did you use and how did you handle the extra 2 players/extra pitchers for April?

Just regular SDS rosters. And just used my best judgement to get teams down to 13/13. Normally the bulk guys were the first ones to get sent down (because high stamina guys in the pen can screw up CPU bullpen usage anyway).

Not sure about the patch but these are all the cleats when you edit a players equipment...

I would love them to add short bat tape as an option. A lot of batters are using the short bat tape length.

I think theres a couple Asics, the Adidas afterburners, and 3 different pairs of Jordan 5(?)'s that are on the market but not in game yet

Yup. I had to go through all the Catchers last night to manually assign the Nike gear. I'm not doing that for everyone. I edited a few that I know are Mizuno guys (like Austin Riley). It's pretty dumb they put a roster update out and didn't get guys in non-generic equipment.

The person in charge of equipment changes could do a better job, but I’m sure the equipment is the last in line for changes to a roster, where as transactions, and player attributes are probably the most important. There’s a lot of players that haven’t been updated to their new equipment yet. Vladimir Guerrero is one of them. They still have him wearing UA which he hasn’t for two years now! Every year players get new contracts with equipment companies to use their stuff. It’s constant! Two others that come to mind are Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuna Jr both wear Nike now. Albies hasn’t been changed for 2 years also. If SDS wants to hire me to edit their rosters than I’m in! LOL! I love to edit the equipment of all players every year! It’s the first thing I do before I start playing games. It really makes a visual difference when you see players/teams wearing their exact or similar equipment! This year has really put a damper on editing and playing the game overall as I’m sort of just waiting for the rest of the equipment to be added before I go all in on editing an entire roster and playing more games. Another thing I wish SDS did was let us or if they uploaded all MLB players with face scans to the Roster/Player Vault that way we can edit are existing rosters with new face scans that get added to newer roster releases. This way all the hard work we did on a previous roster will not go for not when they release a brand new roster with new players with face scans. We can just download them from the vault and then edit the roster that I’ve been working on all along. Just a thought and something I hope for in the future! Oh, also home and away equipment slots would be amazing as well! And SDS knows that we want this cuz I’ve heard Ramone mention it in past videos/streams.

I've been updating equipment for everyone on the opening day 40 man for a few days now using Getty Images reference pictures. There is so much stuff that is wrong it's almost like they just did all the equipment at random. Wrong brands, wrong colors, and some wearing gear that they shouldn't be or visa versa. It's a complete mess.

I’m doing the same thing. Going through the 40-mans and editing all of the white cleats to Team Color 3 so that they are gray for road games.

And if I notice something that is off I’ll check with Getty and change but not for every player. If I go into a game and see it I’ll fix then but to start my franchise I am just doing TC3 for everyone

It is tedious and should be the default color rather than White/Black

You do whatever you want but you'd be surprised at how many players wear white gloves and cleats during away games.

Acuña and Ozzie are both wearing Nike cleats/batting gloves in the live roster. And Vlad Guerrero is in Jordan. As they all should be. The only off thing is Vlad and Ozzie wearing Under Armor compression sleeves.

Brandon Nimmo
Jeff Mcneil (today at least)
Pete Alonso were them for a couple o games before todays mother's day specials
*Problaby Mcneil and Alonso were just trying it out
