Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
Sadly after watching the IGN video it doesn't look like equipment got much of an update. Batting gear looks like the same models for branded and generic versions, pine tar still looks bad, no new pant options, customization for different areas of cleats and batting gloves still look to be locked or attached to other areas so as not to allow for different color combinations, bat tape & length still looks the same. I'm sure other things will be the same as past years also but those are a few things that I noticed from the video.Red soxComment

Damn, was really hoping this would be the year they’d make a big step towards that side of the game.Comment

There is a new pair of UA batting gloves. Can't tell if they are the new Harper Hustles or the UA Epics.Comment

I was hoping 44 brand was added as well since they make fielding gloves that a lot of players use.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
I really didn’t like the pair of Jordan cleats that they showed us when they introduced Jordan brand. They still had the Nike logo on them. I don’t recall anyone in MLB actually wearing those. I hope they have another pair to choose from. Also I hope Jordan batting gloves are in. Also, at this point I’d be fine if they just slapped a Nike logo on some generic catchers gear. It’d be better than nothing. Nike is the official MLB outfitter now and we can’t even get their catcher gear.Last edited by bronxbombers21325; 03-06-2020, 02:09 PM.Comment

Just put the Nike logo on the generic option, I would gladly take that!!!!!!Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

I have a feeling those Jordan 1 cleats will be the only ones in the game, hope I’m wrong though.Comment

Re: MLB The Show Equipment Wishlist
Meh, I know I’m probably in a small minority who this will bother enough to think about purchasing, but after recently purchasing nba 2k after some years off and seeing all I can do and edit with “franchise” and players gear, shoes, etc it just gives me so much more immersion.
The show can’t even get their official uniform sponsor’s catching gear? We need outside the lines on this or something? I just wanna hear what the deal is? Why can’t they do it? Gear has so many issues... I’m sure I’ll forget some and I’m going to be vague cuz I’m lazy. Missing glasses, color blocking on shoes, gloves, whatever else so they don’t even look real (NB shoes and trout gloves killed me last year) undershirts needs to be done so we can take them off. Change color, whatever. Why are there so many restrictions? Yet not many options in general? Do more. Catchers gear. Enough said.
Sorry for the yuge rant. Just seems like something the show used to at least be above average in they’ve just totally discarded along with franchise mode. Will probably have to wait for the next “cycle” for franchise type modes to become cool again. Someone will swoop up that market eventuallyComment

I’m right there with you man! I just don’t understand how we DONT have Nike catchers equipment in the game yet.
