Does the price drop?

I typically buy on launch but didn't this year as I was finishing up my masters degree in the spring. The playoffs are giving me in the itch to pick up '19 - does anyone know if the price drops below $29.99 at any point around this time of year? I've never really paid attention.

It's free right now if you have a PS Plus subscription. You might find it cheaper at Gamestop, but I don't know for certain.

How does PS Plus work? Is it free/playable for just this month?

You get to play the game as long as your PS Plus sub is valid. PS Plus is mainly used to be able to play online games against others. Every month there are free games, but note I don't play online so I'm not sure exactly what it costs per year or what other games are available.

I always buy it when it hits $19.99 and last year it shows I bought it in February.

It is 49.99 per year. Honestly I only play offline as well but there are some good free game deals and I use the cloud to back up every thing because I have been spurned one too many times.

if it doesn't drop, I have an extra copy of 17 I'd let go for a couple hundred bucks.

I got it for $30 at Walmart. It was still $40 at Gamestop last I checked.
