I may be a bit dramatic by saying it but it could be gamebreaking for me in an already lacking franchise if they can't add it. That being said, I'd really like to see it Day 1 or patched very early on.

i can guarantee you now this is not something that can be 'patched' into a game.. they can't even patch in uniform fixes.

They did patch in uniform fixes last year but I know what you mean overall

yes having said that they did do a few things unexpectedly last year that they never had done before. like adding in players face scans mid season, never seen that coming at all.

Wait sorry if this is a dumb question, but has there been a rule change for 26 man rosters in irl?

Edit: Oh wow, didn't realized that changed... I hate it. Not a big deal to me if it's not included.

The trade deadline was not updated last year. 40 man eligibility for playoffs has been wrong for years.

Coming to xbox so should have a big enough market.

I mean, they sort of had the trade deadline rule in for the past few years, given that it was FRIGGIN' BROKEN.

But yes, I agree 100%. Hopefully coming to X-Box will give them a bigger market so they can invest in the resources to take this game to the next level

Since the three-batter minimum seems to be a certainty for 2020, I'd like the ability to change league rules added to Franchise. NBA 2K's MyLeague and MyGM already have a similar system in place. Ideally, an MLB version would have the option to revert to old rules (such as no three-batter minimum) as well. If rule changes could be applied to other modes like Play Now, that would just be icing on the cake.

yeah, its great you can completely turn off DH if you want. I hope they will be able to keep that in when the NL adopts the Damned Hitter.

I don't mind the rule I just wish the pitchers limit was less then 13. I think it should be 12 so 5 starters and only 7 BP guys allowed. the way it used to be.

I have a feeling the way they fix that 26th man issue will be a good indication of how serious they are with the franchise mode.

40 man eligibility for playoffs has been wrong for years.

This has been driving me nuts for years now. They just don't focus on Franchise as much as other modes, so rule changes like this aren't that big of a priority for them it seems.

Yea I still am not sure what exactly they CAN patch. I was shocked they patched in player likeness updates for Vald and Tatis. Even more shocked they patched in a new Adidas cleat model halfway through the season.

I understand they dont have resources or choose to not use them on franchise but it seems like it would go a long to way to franchise players to fix some of these little issues.Hopefully on next generation we will get a new franchise system built from the ground up with its own list of legacy issues that wont get fixed until PS6 lol
