    Doesn't change mine.

Having MLB The Show on the PlayStation was a big plus, but I've always been a Sony PlayStation gamer and enjoy their first party games moreso than what is offered on Xbox, most notably God of War and the Uncharted Series.

While I'm excited to see the Show go multi-platform and what that could possibly mean for the future, my next gen console purchase will not be swayed, as I will pickup the PlayStation 5 when it releases next year.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

This current generation, I got an Xbox One at launch and then a PS4 the following spring when The Show came out. I'll probably still end up with both next generation because I'm dumb like that, but I'll probably wait a little longer on the PS5 than I did with the PS4 if I don't need one to play The Show.

It changes mine, I’m not going to get a PS5 and New XBOX now. I will likely just get the new XBOX and play The Show from there.

          This echoes my sentiments exactly.

Probably will stay with PS5 over XBOX but will now buy a Switch or switch equivalent for mobile capability if it’s on that platform.

              If this was last-gen? Yes.

Now, I plan on getting both at launch regardless. 90% of my PS usage is the Show though, outside of exclusives like Horizon, GOW, UC, LOU.

I would have shouted for joy at the Show coming to Xbox 10 years ago, because the sole reason I bought a Ps3 in 2009 was for the Show. And I know at LEAST 3 of my friends who got a PS soley for the Show as well. But I found the joy in so many exclusive PS titles that I can't go without them.

Now, I may actually buy the Show on Xbox, but that will be decided at another time. I may get the Switch version for a RTTS on the go though.

Either way, all crazy news to me. If for some reason I don't have the funds for both I will go Xbox because its my primary console and my decision will be made for me there.

I am more curious to know what my friends will do. I know not everyone can afford two systems at launch. MLB 21 will launch 4 months after the systems drop. I can definitely see them bypassing the PS this cycle and just getting the Xbox version.

Not for me. The biggest difference between the two platforms (Xbox and Playstation) is controller and I despise the dualshock.

Getting the Show on Xbox is huge.

I've been firmly in the PlayStation camp since 1998, that wont change now. I wont be buying a ps5 regardless until I have concrete evidence of it being worthwhile to transition. March of 2021 would be the earliest I'd switch but it could come as late as March of 2022.

I have always been a play station person since the mid 90s.. nothing really has changed me. I just prefer the games on that console. deep down though I am a PC guy. I have a $3000 pc built this year so if the show moved to PC I would be getting it on that. but I think I probably would still own a PS5 for exclusives, don't see the point of owning a XBOX when the PC of mine would crap all over it and have all the games xbox would anyway.

If it comes to PC, no more consoles for me.

As a pretty hardcore gamer, I've always owned all systems so next gen won't be any different. I'll probably still get The Show on the PS5 since it will always be a "Playstation" game in my mind. Unless it turns out the Xbox Series X is more powerful and has a better version of it.

Nope, I'm planning to sit out the next generation of consoles. The PS4 era has been disappointing to me (as a sports gamer). Fewer and fewer choices, and less and less change year to year. These days, I am more likely to still be playing my Vita (or my Xbox 360). As to The Show, I'll be using 15 on my Vita and 19 on my PS4.

I have an xbox one x and a ps4pro so I'll get the game on whichever console runs the game better.

                              Absolutely.

I got the PS4 for... Super Mega Baseball! I picked up an xbox late in the game. PS4's lack of cross-play was a major pain in games like Minecraft and SMB. The only reason I didn't sell it off is that my son loves playing The Show. Looks like I'll be back to Xbox exclusive next gen!
