    Camera view: Batters eye

I would like for SCEA to incorporate a batters eye view in one of the camera views. It would make it as realistic as possible. I am currently using Strike Zone now. I would like to hear your opinions on this. Thanks.

Can you be a little more specific?

Every stadium is already authentic and has a batters eye in it.

I mean when you are up to bat. Meaning the view from the actual batters eyesight. I guess it could be hard since every player has a different height. Or they can just do one view. I remember a baseball game on PC years ago that had this view. It may have been 989 sports?

Interesting idea, but not something I'd personally use as a Zone hitting user. The reason is because the camera would need to turn inward while the ball is en route to the plate in order to track it for its entire path. Trying to control a hitting interface like Zone with a moving camera would be difficult, to say the least. Not to mention you wouldn't really even be able to see the PCI anyway since the view has to be looking at the ball - and not at home plate.

With a different interface, I might give it a shot. I could see it working for directional and Pure Analog.

Like OP, I play on strike zone and have wondered the same thing. Bcruise worded it perfectly, I don’t think the implementation of it would be so great especially for those who play with zone hitting.

Now I do think this would awesome in virtual reality gaming. Just wish a AAA sports title would come to PSVR.

          Can you imagine? Haha.

Didn't The Show have the Batter's Eye view in an earlier version of the show? Maybe I'm thinking of a different game.

EDIT: Is this what you're after? This is included in the current version of The Show (2019):

Could be? Not sure? I just remember playing a game on PC that had it.

This R3 just zooms in so you can look around the field. The pitcher will not pitch while in this view.

Dont care to do this while batting, but I would try it as a pitcher, from a mounds eye view. Didnt 2k do this with their NFL game about 15 years ago, where they had an inside the helmet view?
