Out of all of the things to focus on, this is the least of my concerns, well maybe except for DD. It's a video game still, I get that it should be realistic, etc. but let's work on FA/trade logic, team morale, commentary, graphics, etc.

This. I don't see the purpose of it in a video game. Would be a waste of resources that could be otherwise spent making the game better.

Madden has it where a guy clearly has a foot out of bounds will be called in bounds.

i'd also wanna argue calls and get my manager ejected either provide a slight boost or decline in player performance (Francise only)
Ejections were in the game once, but the MLB put the kybosh on that. They also did all of the animation work for bench clears and players getting worked up (like the classic "I'm right in your face but not actually touching you" you see all the time) one year but MLB said no.

I'd also point out that challenges can only happen at first base with less then three outs. You can get a bad call at first to end an inning and you're SOL. Only reason I keep them on is because I love the atmosphere they bring to the game, but I currently plan on going to a perfectly called strike zone in my next virtual season, and I'm seriously considering going for perfect calls on the bases as well.

You can set umpire calls to perfect which is what I do. That is a built in challenge system.

One reason is they still have issues in general with safe and out animations. You can go to instant replays and often find missed tags thats for sure.

Overall it just not "fun" most would rather have them allocate their time on other aspects of the game. more importantly, it wont sell like other things would

Well then maybe we need to put the Kibosh on the MLB...
