My guess is that all the logos and advertising that is now in the game is legally allowed to be done without compensation, likely due to the fact that these are not under the same umbrella as normal stadium advertising, but they are more landmark-esque.

So while they may have the giant Coca Cola bottle past left field in San Fran, they likely do not have the rights to use Coca Cola anywhere else in the game. The same goes for Citgo, Delta, PNC, and so on, etc.

Much like they didn't pay to get all of the minor leaguers in the game, even though we were preached to, yelled at about, and told for years now that they can't have non MLB service time players in the product. They finally stumbled upon a loophole and made use of it (likely do to OOTP and the roster creators at this very site).

I think you hit the nail on the head, this is most likely why we haven’t seen Coca-Cola ads in the other ballparks. The Wintrust and Delta ads aren’t really landmarks though and are pretty much traditional ads so it’d be interesting to know how those were able to make it in.

We have seen PNC in at Pittsburgh (PNC Park) and Cincinnati. I'm curious if they will have the Coca-Cola signage in center field at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Would be awesome! With 2K you can download real ads on share and some guys make some pretty awesome relocated teams

Goes back to what I said. The PNC ad in Cincy is not inside the park, but rather falls into proprietary loophole status by being part of the environment like the other ads noted in this thread.

The one in Pittsburgh doesn’t fit the example because it’s in the game because it’s included with the legal rights to the actual ballpark and it’s logo.

Coca Cola would not be seen anywhere else in this game, is my best guess.

Noticed in the stadium-select screen of Oracle Park that the Coca-Cola ad on the bottle was gone, unless the image is from an older build. Can anyone with the game check this out?
Also, is there a Delta sign at Truist Park? Wasn’t one in the preview image either which would be odd considering yankee stadium has the exact same sign.
                Any Coca-Cola signage in ballparks?

I played a game at Oracle last night and the Coke bottle is IN. The stadium select picture has not been updated to reflect it. Haven’t looked anywhere else.

I updated this article with hi-res shots of both Hancock and Citgo. Keep searching and I'll keep snagging.

Nice! Any chance you could check out Truist Park for the Delta sign on their scoreboard?

Edit: Nevermind, just saw a YouTube video and NO Delta sign at Truist Park. Very bizarre considering Yankee Stadium has the exact same one.

Coca-Cola in SF, but yeah, no Pepsi-Cola at Citi Field

Yeah there has to be something super specific about this licensing or they ran out of time, since it's still COLA in St. Louis as well.
