I like the more stat variety they finally implemented. Saw one where with a runner on base, a stat popped up showing how many double plays the batter has hit into. Little things like that is the way to go.

I'm a dinosaur, I typically avoid the "MyPlayer" modes in sports games today. I don't hate them or anything, I understand the gaming landscape. But man, the real life ads and real minor leaguers is gonna make playing Road to the Show feel more authentic this year. I'm looking forward to Show 20 a little more now.

Side note but am I the only one who liked the old layout of the in game pause menu better? The one from 18.

The lineups were right there instead of having to press square. Lineups had batting averages too, now they don't. Also seemed to load quicker when pause button is hit.

I could be wrong, but I think this is the first time we've seen that the in game pause menu is unchanged from 19.

That Challenge Failed and Challenge Completed are really really ugly. Taking up the whole screen, blinding white, really obtrusive.
