Well, I wasn’t really expecting division restructuring but, at least it appears I can move the Rays, perhaps an entire new team to replace the Astros and rename them. Could add a little fun to the game. New generic stadium would be a must though.

If you look in the background around 1:10, that looks like a generic stadium. The question now becomes how many generic stadiums are there.

Pretty much what I expected, just moving the DD team editor over to franchise and pretending that's relocation. The absolute bare minimum. Very underwhelming.

On a side note, whoever came up with the terrible puppet idea needs firing (preferably into the sun)

100% what I expected. Not sure why anyone would think franchise mode would get any kind of actual upgrade.

So can we only edit uniforms if we completely rebrand a team or will we be able to edit existing team uniforms, like changing the default road undershirt color for example? Last year, the Braves had red sleeves on the road even though they wear the same blue ones home and away in real life and it just looked wrong. I'm hoping we can edit aspects of the existing uniforms without having to start from scratch

Rotating interleague schedules? Nah. Smarter AI bullpen usage? Nah. Better CPU roster management? Nah. Fix for postseason rosters? Nah. But cool, hot dog hats.

If we can "rebrand" more than 1 team and select generic stadiums, im all for it. Im interested in moving Miami, Tampa and possibly Oakland. If it allows me to do the above mentioned(change all that they mentioned, select a generic stadium and actually have the announcement in game be correct) inn all for it.

Just angers me that theyve had all these years to implement relocation and havnt. If High Heat and MLB MVP 05 had it, why the hell can't tbey do it now with the technology and disk space they have now a days. Frustrating. And its not going to change on the 5 either

But im a sucker and will still buy the damn game..

Underwhelming for me personally, but pretty much what we expected. If there isn’t generic stadiums then I probably will never use. Still a cool add for those who will though.

Kind of hard for me not to be excited since they announced ridin’s rosters are in the game out of the box. At this point SDS can do no wrong and it looks like another day one purchase for me

I’m still on the fence. Real minor leaguers are nice and it’s nice they give us the option to rebrand teams. But I want to see what they have regarding roster management and the progression system. Otherwise I’ll just keep playing 19 and skip out on this one.

Very enthusiastic about this!
Would love to have the ability to add a logo/ patch on the left sleeve.
I have hundreds of players I created that I'm transporting to 2020.
I hope I can use this feature on those players.

I'm making some assumptions here but:

- it looks like it only applies to a new franchise
- it looks like you have to completely rebrand a team. No new alternates for already existing team brands.
- no option to use current team brands and lettering.
- might be 1 team only per franchise.

If all of the above is true, then I have little to no interest in using the feature.

I hope I'm wrong.

At least there seems to be more generic stadiums. New spring training venues for me!

I hope this isn't true. I have so much time invested in my players. I don't think I have it in me to do it again this year for 6 to 8 months. I think I will just skip this if it's not offered to my 400 created players.
Wish they would open up franchises like roster. So I could incorporate my players.
