I'd like to think that they've expanded the audio database to go along with the implementation of real life rosters into the out-of-box product, given that those players will feature prominently in Road to the Show (which will be a lot of the userbase's first experience with the game). Bad look if you get a bunch of generic position lines or "Number so-and-so" for that first impression.

Pretty exciting time, seeing a rule that's existed for as long as I can remember on "full-likeness" baseball games change suddenly.

I am incredibly NOT surprised they put Tebow in the trailer.

I'm wondering if this is all baked-in for day 1 or if we need to wait for a patch.

Also wondering if that means names for minor leaguers will be in the game, or at least the top prospects for each team. Would be a bummer if they have all the prospects and they are still called #17 when you promote them.

Would be cool also if player progression followed real-life performance. I would love if they could update player abilities with a patch each month (like they do for online) within franchises. If they can't fix player progression, that would be a great way to address it.

Seriously a big congrats to Ridin and the team of ppl who have been volunteering their time year after year to complete of OSFM rosters. Obviously, it was a tremendous amount of work to undertake, and they've had to start from scratch with every yearly release of MLBTS.

Seeing SDS recognize and incorporate their work into this year's title is a big accomplishment. This gives me even more hope for SDS listening to and implementing other feature requests from the player base.

Awesome news for Ridin and his crew. Smart move for the developers to embrace the community that's poured thousands of hours over the years to providing a robust experience to the consumers.

We also have to make sure to take a beat and give Knight165 a shout out here as well, as he played an integral role in making OSFM a reality from the beginning.

The question now with an exponential increase in the number of minor league players is whether they also reworked the scouting and June draft to account for 30 rounds instead of the current 7.

There's nothing that suggests that they have increased the number of roster slots past 90.

Knight165 has to receive some credit as well. He started this project many years ago, and kudos to Ridin for carrying on the project.

This is fantastic news. I do just have one SMALL concern:

Now that minor league rosters are "official"...we've probably lost all ability to customize them. They'll become locked like the MLB players in terms of height, weight, hair, facial hair, etc...

What if not all the minor league guys have audio and we can't edit that? You might have to play a full season with your top young player being called "number 47".

Small issue, but I know it's going to cause issues for some people if all that information isn't 100% correct.

Even if this is true, you can always import a CAP in place of whatever player you want changed.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if an MiLB guy has a scan then his face is locked obviously like any other player with the scan. According to Joe Doyle and the videos we have seen not all players have a face scan so those without a scan will probably work like they normally do. You should be able to edit the faces for the one's that are CAPS. That is my guess. People will know more after tomorrow.

Amazing News- Hopefully they are up and ready for when the MVP edition releases 4 days early cause I will be taking a long weekend.
I hope we have some new MLB Face Scans added cause some guys are just plain bad or havent had one in a few years- AKA Randal Grichuk.

Congrats to all the guys who work on this Roster!
