I get it's the last version of the show with the focus on PS4, with the PS5 and XBSX coming but I have been underwhelmed as well with the additions.

It screams a refinement and smoothing out the edges kind of development this year.

Wasn't planning on buying this year, usually buy every other year... but I will just for the sole purpose of all the OS guys finally getting their due after all of these years of solid work. Y'all deserved this many years ago. Sincere congrats on this accomplishment.

I think veterans that havent played recently, but could be on teams for 2020 could be already on the game.

In the 41min IGN video I seen RP Silvino Bracho on the Dbacks roster. He hasnt played since 2018.

Lastly dont know if some would like this, but the 1600 players they did audio for means that they will be locked in as real players.

One or 2 things happened.

1. They got scanned faces.

2. The art team created some of there faces from scratch.

The positive is that these players they added will have audio and you dont half to mess with the database or have them say # 99 etc.

The downside is none will be editable if they did add there audio and face these players will be locked.

Yep that’s exactly right Houston that’s what I’ve been saying. It also means the export trick might not even work now, they might think what’s the point of having that now

So how hard would it be to have added portraits for those minor leaguers? Is this something they could definitly add without face scans? that would be great to see

I don’t see it as a issue, players without face scans have had portraits in the past. But it is 1600 players and the minors won’t be wearing the mlb caps so now that I think of it perhaps not unless they are portraits of their minor league caps and they just turn to cgi if. Called up

This is why I always use the trick of backing out of the fantasy draft when starting a season. That way all players use their in-game player model head for their portrait.

Yeah that's what I did last year it made for consistency worked better
