You will not find any players 20-27 years old hardly ever. When in today's game they make up the bulk of the best players. Every year I have to go in and edit young players to make them more MLB ready.

I understand its not a "bug" but I cant see how they thought this was what they wanted.
Assuming you were using full minors rosters. Is that correct?

One thing that has always confused me is the difficulty levels in RTTS and player lock.

For whatever reason, your difficulty changes based on which level you're playing at. If you set the difficulty to All-Star, you're playing on Veteran in AA, All-Star in AAA, and Hall of Fame in MLB. This has been verified in player lock as well through looking at PCI size changes.

something definitely isn't right with salaries and moral when even the 19 cover guy isn't happy with the record (at that time) contract he had JUST signed less than a month earlier.

I enjoy creating legends. I'm retired so it's part of my day to create and edit faces.
My vault name is Big Klu.
My pet peeve is putting in thousands of hours of effort creating players. Someone pushes a button downloads from the vault. Then takes credit for all my time and effort.
I wish there was a way artist can protect our work?
I really want to share my work but not when other people take credit for it. That's pretty low.
Part of being an artist is taking pride in your work. And getting a pat on the back.

As previously mentioned. Calling a minor leaguer up the salary does not adjust to the minimum.

So they will still make the minor league salary and be angry morale wise which drops overall 3-5 points.

Yes I was. I'm also referring to the generated players they have in the drafts as well.

I don’t play RTTS, but as far as offline franchise goes, I’d love to see the following changes...

                1. the ability to customize names and attributes for managers, coaches, and umpires.
                2. rotating interleague schedules.
                3. Spring training games that end in ties if tied after the 9th inning. The game won’t count in the standings but does count individual and team stat-wise. This is how Spring training games work in real life.
                4. Improved crowds that go nuts after big base hits late in games and walk off wins.

Not sure if this is franchise specific but I've only seen it happen when I play franchise mode, but I've seen multiple instances where a position player wins the Cy Young award.

MLB09 was the Best franchise mode at the time. Arbitration/rule 5 waiver trades.....was missing stats.....but over time it has become a dying mode.

Other games have surpassed it. I don't remember the last time focus was put into it. Started the year they focused on reinventing online franchise mode. Made a separate franchise mode essentially. We were told had to get online on par and would reinvest in offline.

Then online was taken out shortly after...

                      Very sad times.

He can join the lineup at the end after all of us who have paid $80/year for the past five or six to be beta testers.

Yes I have heard this about RTTS, but what about player-lock in a Franchise game? I would hope that if I setup my franchise games using let's say "All Star" hitting that I am playing at the "All Star" level if/when I enter player-lock games. Unless I am mistaken you cannot play "Play Now" player-lock games, you can only play them in Franchise mode and at least at this time you can only play at the MLB level in Franchise. So "All Star" should equal "All Star" (or whatever other level one chooses to play at). I am fine playing with all of my RTTS players at "All Star" meaning they are actually at the "Hall of Fame" level because I get plenty of added boosts with the diamond and gold gear I have equipped them with. But when I do play player-lock games at the "All Star" level it seems a tad harder than RTTS and I suspect this is because in RTTS the game wants you to succeed whereas in Franchise the game does not care either way?

Seeing the list of all the neglected bugs and problems that do not get fixed year after year is straight up disappointing. There are so many I can’t even keep track. I love the gameplay and the on the field stuff, it plays a great game of baseball, with the right sliders. But the off-field stuff and under the hood aspects are just as important as the on-field gameplay in making this a real sim experience, which imo, it is not.

Yes, nearly every thing said in this thread have been issues for years and I am almost positive that they have been communicated to SDS every year.

                              My list
                              Regression
                              Budgets
                              Playoff Roster
                              Slow progression with A prospects.

I wish that this could be a wishlist thread to talk about create a stadium or edit managers, contraction or expansion. Instead we have to ask to fix the issues that we have been asking to be fixed for years.

                                RTTS.
Bring back as in MLB 17 Bowman Scout Day and the Showcase games affect your draft. Bowman and the Showcase games are irrelevant right now making them just a waste of time. You're going to go in the 15th round do either of the Orioles Royals or the White Sox.
