Custom Teams - WBC?

Wondering if the ability to export/import modified teams (logos, stadiums, names, etc..) from Franchise, will allow us to replicate the WBC Tournament? I would think this year no, since they will only exist in Franchise Mode which requires all 30 teams to exist.

I also do not believe there is a custom league and/or tournament mode that will allow us to do this?

I am not a huge FIFA fan, but I believe FIFA has the ability to create a custom tournament (with custom name, teams, trophy, format, etc...) and it would be cool if MLB added this next year. I know they technically do not own the rights to WBC tournament, but given a custom tournament option + custom teams....it could easily be replicated...especially with such a huge pool of players to pick from now (MLB + minors).

I'd be interested to see if team relocation can be blended with custom tournaments to help replicate the WBC Tournament.

Definitely will be better than not and hopefully expanded upon in the future but this year is just building it up/testing it out.

so there are 12 teams in the 2020 WBC? I guess you could pick 10 of them and instead of the WBC tournament, play the post-season mode with 10 teams.
