A good model for The Show to copy

The Show needs to follow this model as far as the crowd immersion and stadium effects go. Make the crowd this loud when the stadium is closer to full and much less vocal and less rowdy when the team is struggling and attendance is low. I’m hoping we see this amount of advertisements across the stadium in The Show 20. This is a PC game, so perhaps we can see improvements similar to these when the game is released for the next generation consoles.

I've never been a PC gaming guy, so I don't have much knowledge about how this modding works. Is it possible for someone to buy a gaming PC, this game, and download this game that others have made modifications to or is it up to each person to make their own modifications if they know how to?

In my opinion, the modified version of 2k12 with the camera view from behind the pitcher is the best looking game to date. All of the stadium sounds, sound effects, music, advertisements around the stadium, and crowd AI looks marvelous.

The entire atmosphere and crowd noise is miles better than The Show. Reminds me of how much better the crowd noise and arena sounds are in NBA Live compared to 2K. The commentary in MLB 2K also blows away The Show commentary imo. It just sounds like real baseball to me

I agree. Is there a way for someone with a PC to buy MLB2k12 and download this modification? Do you know if updated rosters/MILB players are released as well? I only play the PS4 and know next to nothing about PC gaming.

cant currently do anything about adverts/stadium effects but as for October games, turn Crowd Volume to 100. low attendance regular season games set at 33 and higher attendance regular season games set at 66. or whatever recipe works best for you.

non-crowd immersion and stadium effects/adverts, a blended mix of OOTP and the Show would be the ideal model of a baseball video game. just dont see a console doing justice to a OOTP game, not even a PS5, probably not a PS6 either lol maybe in another 15 years *fingers crossed*

2K Sports has always had the blow you out of the water presentation package!!

But The Show has been very good gameplay.

Not perfect because if it was there would no market for new versions year in & year out!

                  My humbled opinion...

I bc agree there isn’t much difference to game 7 in a World Series to a 10-0 game in September.

Even the commentators are no different .

I don’t know squat about pc gaming either but the more I see a video like this, the more I think I want to get a gaming pc next generation.

Especially with The show coming to different platforms.

Slightly off topic but I did always love getting the 2K games along with The Show. The Show was always far superior but 2K did some really nice things and had some interesting mechanics, especially when it came to pitching. I do much prefer classic pitching but if you use a different pitch method and didn't play the 2K version...it was pretty cool the way they did it
