Any graphical updates in the show 20?

I like the changes made so far but haven't seen anything mentioned about graphics updates of any kind.

Has there been mention of any?

Nope. That said chances are any advancements being made from the team im sure is on PS5 from here on out

I recall them saying the last couple of years that they are pretty much maxed out graphically for the ps4. While overall the game looks good (and great in some areas like the MLB stadiums) the game/engine is starting to get kind of dated in some aspects, for example the stiff jerseys due to the complete lack of cloth physics. Hopefully there will be a big jump for the first full development cycle on ps5 a couple years from now.

Given that it's the last year of the console generation nobody should be mad about MLB 20 just being a slight polish, provided MLB 21 for PS5 is not a disaster a la Madden 06 for Xbox 360/NHL 15 PS4.

Would like to see more motion blur in the game. It runs smoothly for the most part but I think adding motion blur would greatly improve the visuals and reflect the speed of pitches, ball off the bat, pitching motions, etc. Pitching motions and delivery is a violent action on the body and I feel like that is missing in this game

Guys I can tell you from what Ive seen is that the graphics are very crisp and that I didnt witness any sorts of lag in pitches or fielding

there may not be much competition from other baseball games but SDS gotta still stay on their toes, there are literally thousands of games competing for the $´s the Show is receiving. if for whatever reason Sony stopped making video games tomorrow, I'd probably go back to playing Madden. as it is, the Show wins my money over Madden, for now. or if I just got tired of the Show, I'd probably go back to Madden. I like having 1 game eat up 75% of my video game time, be it baseball basketball or football. and for the foreseeable future, its baseball.

I honestly don't really think it looks very good at all in a lot of ways. Lighting is just way off and the fields look like they are from early PS3.


I'll be waiting for PC and mods to make some actually decent grass and colors respective of the team.

It literally is coming to PC lol? It's coming to other platforms as well. Are you not paying attention? After 2021 it is no longer exclusive to PS4. Sony signed a new agreement.

Where did you hear it "definitely" is coming to pc? There has been no statement as to which systems it will be on. There are assumptions to xbox and switch due to nintendo and Microsoft retweeting, but nothing is official. The press release states consoles.

No it has not been announced for PC just yet.
