They aren’t letting us use custom rosters for the Online Leagues like they did in Online Franchise.

You can either choose from MLB Live rosters or DD rosters.

This was a very lazy job by Sony. Online Leagues should be taking steps forward instead of steps backward.

Well considering the mode was a glitchy broken mess and then was totally removed from the game. I’d say that taking the time to develop a new core for the mode and giving it back to us only year after it was removed doesn’t really fall into the “lazy” category.

Yes, with the video that just came out we have enough info to say that this is not an offline feature, and that you cannot use custom rosters with it. I do wish they would change the headline of this topic so as not to disappoint more people coming in and expecting something that isn't there.

The allowing or not allowing of Custom Rosters really has nothing to do with any core development of the mode. It's just putting a lock key on an option people want. It wouldn't require much extra work on their part. The custom rosters would load in the same way the base ones do. This is a control thing, and its a really perplexing one. I can't wrap my head around it. I don't get bugged about not having Create A Stadium put in, or things of that nature. But this no brainer stuff is another story.

Hope I’m in the right thread here...
          My question is..
I have created some fictional teams 6 to be exact. Can I - at the beginning of a franchise replace existing MLB teams with my teams ?
Other question may take for instance the Miami Marlins before Franchisce start and just alter uniforms replace logos ..and City name ?

            Wrong thread But I'll answer

Question 1: the cosmetic team stuff (Logo, uni, city, etc.) can be used to replace teams at the beginning of franchise. It's unclear if the actual roster assets will be saved when you export the team. If they aren't, you would need to import your custom players onto the desired team within the main menu roster editor (like how you would currently). Once complete, you'd save the modified roster file. That roster would then be the one you need to import to start your franchise with - then you can do the re-branding by importing the custom team cosmetics you saved.

            Question 2: Yes.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.
