A little visual of the Remote Play session in a new MOM I just started with the Yanks.

You are going to want to turn injuries down if you want to have a pitching staff by June. They seem to have over compensated.

As for my original post I don't see much if any difference between perfect and average. I'm sure there is a difference or they wouldn't have given the option of choosing but looking at pitcher analysis in both umpire settings I don't see much of a difference.

This should be addressed in patch 1.05

I'm 20 games into the season with my 2 teams and I still haven't lost anyone to injury. Opposing teams have lost a total of 2 players, 1 catcher and 1 OF.

I was getting good amount of injuries in game by me and CPU. Haven't seen 1 since the patch.

I turned the slider down to 2. I'll move it back to 5. I don't want no injuries like last year's game but an injury once in a while would be realistic.

My suggestion for injuries is for two dice rolls both based upon the durability rating. One for whether an injury occurs and a second for the length of the injury. Maybe that's already how it works.

Looks like dugout camera is fixed.

Hard to track the ball once in play but probably just takes some getting used to

It's definitely fixed, but the dugout camera works different this year and because of it, I decided to go back to using the Backstop camera for my MoM games (the view I started to use when the game was first released and I discovered the Dugout camera was broken). It's cool that with this year's Dugout camera you can pan around the stadium all 360 degrees prior to the pitch (in past years you were restricted to about a 180 degree view), but the camera does not auto snap back to the pitcher when you stop panning like it used to. You have to manually pan back to the pitcher after looking around and if you do look around the stadium prior to the pitch you are stuck having to follow the ball manually if the batter puts the balls into play. Plus I was a tad turned off as the Dugout camera appears to be more clunky when it follows the ball compared to the way it used to work. In summary I am disappointed in the new Dugout camera, but at the same time I am warming up to the Backstop view since you can see the pitches so much better in that view.

                      Re: Manage mode players

Well, due to my eye sight problems (macular degeneration/glaucoma, although I’m 20/20 at distance) I have been a bit frustrated playing this year. Not because of the game, but I found I had to save the games every few innings due to problems with focus, so:

My best bud plays MOM, he’s 77, ex-Illinois State baseball player, diehard baseball enthusiast suggested I give MOM a try for a few games. I did and can say I love it. I use quick counts, 30 team control to keep all rosters as current as I can.

I play on a 65” Samsung QLED and using the backstop camera the game is beautiful. I was sort of mesmerized by the crowd in the outfield stands as I played a three game series in Philadelphia. Amazingly well done.

I find myself stepping in and calling pitches in key situations, 1-2 counts come to mind and haven’t found myself bored in the slightest. Not making any dumb mistakes, or swinging at balls that I shouldn’t because of my eye sight. I must say that the beauty of the game, all the pre-pitch presentation really keeps me glued. And I’m enjoying the in-game decision making that a manager would normally be involved with.

Only thing......do sliders actually work, or does the game simply default to CPU v CPU out of the box settings? Reason I ask is, just as a test I ran a power slider all the way to the right (trust me I don’t want to win every game, or break home run records as I’m 12-11 in this current season). Testing I thought the long ball would be insane, but I saw no difference. Reset my sliders after this test.

Anyway, guess I’ve joined the ranks of the few, but I’m glad I did as the frustration over my eye sight is gone and enjoying the heck out of this beautiful game.

Welcome to the club! Its the most enjoyable way to play the game but I am biased along with the few others in here. Sliders definitely matter in MOM. I tested over 65 games with very slight tweaks. Settled on everything Default except 3 things
                        Steal Ability 6 (+1)
                        Steal Frequency 6 (+1)
                        Wind 0 (-5)
This is by far the best game to date. I play as the Royals. Here are my stats I keep on a spreadsheet. 1st column is my games, 2nd column is 2019 KC games (teams have different styles so I wanted to compare the Show KC to real life KC, 3rd column is 2019 MLB Avg)

                        AB 34.15 - 34.17 - 34.29
                        R 4.70 - 4.81 - 4.83
                        H 8.90 - 8.89 - 8.65
                        E 0.65 - 0.53 - 0.60
                        2B 1.75 - 1.79 - 1.75
                        3B 0.15 - 0.21 - 0.16
                        HR 1.35 - 1.18 - 1.40
                        BB 3.00 - 3.20 - 3.27
                        K 7.15 - 8.13 - 8.81
                        SB 0.50 - 0.54 - 0.47
                        CS 0.12 - 0.41 - 0.17
                        DP 1.05 - 0.76 - 0.71
                        HBP 0.30 - 0.43 - 0.41
                        SP IP 5.23 - 5.14 - 5.20
                        AVG .261 - .260 - .252
                        WHIP 1.36 - 1.41 - 1.33

As you can see incredible realism, had a 14-9 game with 6 HR combined followed by 2-1, 3-2, 5-2 games with a total of 2 HR in those 3 games If there are any patches coming I sure hope they don't tweak gameplay.

Thanks for that. Steal success has always been a bit frustrating playing the cpu. I’ll try upping that and leave it at that. Was wondering what I was going to do with my eye sight the way it’s gotten. Now I know. Being a graphics guy the look of the game in this mode surely helps. Took a look at ‘19 yesterday and the difference is extreme.

I still play a franchise, though it is getting harder. I have a 75" Sony and still have a hard time focusing the whole game.

Been a MoM player for awhile now. Stopped playing 19 when they didn't fix injuries, but 20 has been great so far. Really enjoying it. I'm using the same sliders. Default with steal at 6 and 6. I left wind alone @5 and have been fine. Injuries I have at 6 for a little more challenge. I also lowered fielding and reaction both to 4, seeing a lot of double digits hit games, so I may go back to 5/5. Other then that, it's great this year. I play from the dugout view for most immersion.
