I want to buy the Baez cover edition but, being Canadian, Sportsnet geo-blocked me.
    Thanks Trudeau!

I honestly prefer early access to pre-order bonuses and timed exclusivity on content. I know it acts like timed exclusivity, but it's only for a few days, as opposed to months.

Don't even get me started. I'm very confused how this whole situation is happening. I know a few years ago the CRTC FINALLY did something to help consumers (only time in their entire existence) and made local blackouts illegal.

Did they change the law back already? I know the CRTC has a long history of bending over backwards to serve Roger's and Bell's interests. Pretty par for the course for Canadian telecommunications sadly.

Can't wait for 5 to 10 years from now when Rogers is complaining that no-one supports the team. You know what a great way to build a fanbase is? According to Rogers, it's to limit local access.

I have many, many bad words to describe Rogers, and zero good ones.

I truly understand people being pissed off at the early acsess thing. Especially if the early is a Tuesday. Thsnkfully it's a Friday early release for obvious reasons.

But honestly I sink hundreds of hours into the show every year. In fact the PS site that keeps track of hours said I had over 500 on MLB 19 last year.

$20 in order to get the game on a Friday and jam out all weekend is honestly not a hard decision at all.

Anyone know when pre download is available for early access ? Usually it’s the Sunday before Tuesday release date so is it the Sunday before the Friday releases ?

For those still on the fence:

You can easily get the difference in price back through ebay on your DD codes.

              People do it every year.

Yes I am. And I may do that. Or try to purchase on Amazon.
It just stinks that I can't support local businesses.

I hear you. I have the MLB.tv package and I love it. There are many teams I follow or enjoy watching. But I love watching the Jays too.
I'm going to have to utilize a VPN service now in order to do that. Noway I'm giving Rogers any of my money by purchasing their streaming service.
I cut the cord last Summer and I'm loving it. I don't want to go back to Bell or Rogers ever again.

What version should I buy /order?
I don’t play DD or RTTS...franchise guy only...but I’m confused about Stubbs ect.
I really want to get “sounds” they offer and “equipment” they offer into my franchise this year and I don’t care how expensive the version will be.
So...is there a version that has stubbs I guess ? A version that allows me to purchase these things because I won’t earn them in online games or the other modes of play other than offline franchise

It's not that hard to earn stubs, especially if you're never going to play DD or RttS.

You don't need equipment for franchise, it's all unlocked already. Equipment is for RttS and created DD players only.

You can just sell every player you earn through regular play and sign in bonuses. This will earn you stubs very quickly, even if all you play is franchise mode.

I never once touched online modes in 19, and I ended up earning almost a quarter million stubs.

Sure, you may not get every single sound you want immediately, but you'll get them within a few weeks.

                    Get the standard edition.

MVP edition for me. Gotten the MVP edition every year since 17. It just sucks that the price went up from 69.99 to 79.99. Still not sure exactly why unless it's just SDS justifying that they can charge more for keeping in line with upgraded releases of other games.

Edit: Maybe the four day early release also justifies the increased price.

I bought MVP and paid less than the standard edition with my best buy rewards. Don't really do DD at all, but I'm a sucker for the Steelbooks, have every one the Show has put out.
