UMPIRES ALLOWING PLAYERS TO BE HIT BY PITCH.


I was playing MLB 2019 The Show, and being a Yankee fan playing the Houston Astros I decided to deliberately hit Houston secondbaseman Jose Altuve. In the first game I hit him 3 times, in the second game I hit him 4 times and at no time did the umpire eject my pitcher or even issue a warning. I remember playing in an earlier version of MLB The Show in which when I hit a batter of the opposing team on purpose, I would either be issues a warning or my pitcher would be ejected from the game. I am wondering it this oversight will be corrected in MLB The Show 2020?

Do you have ejections turned on? My pitchers get ejected all the time if I purposely hit 3 batters.

It should be impossible to intentionally drill Altuve or any other Astro. They would certainly have foreknowledge of such a tactic, if this game is true to life.

Make sure ejections are turned on. Should solve your problem.
