My GameStop is doing a 9pm Thursday night release! You should be able to pick yours up then as well, unless you are working or something.

I live in a small town in Alabama. Baseball isnt popular here. My Gamestop doesn't do enough business to warrant be open for a midnight release, or what would amount to it

I’ve been on the fence because I see a lot of people saying it’s just going to be the same game as 19. But I have an itch to play a baseball game so I might cave in. Lol.

I was on the fence about 19, but I’ve definitely preordered 20. I’m a franchise player, but the new defensive mechanics and the inclusion of the new MLB rules made it a no-brainer for me. I’m using a carryover so I don’t even care about the full minors.

I was going to wait but after Full Minors news I can’t start my Franchise any sooner so will be hunting the mom and pops soon to get standard copy. There’s no incentive for me to pick any of 3/13 copies I don’t play DD or any other mode other than Exhibition or Franchise. I wish I did they look so much fun but I don’t have that time.

There’s a store in Washington Heights that has game early hit me up so I can tell u.

Same here but as far as ive been told by my local gamestop as they will allow a 9pm pickup on thurs nite..yaay! will most likely have to wait till at least 12am for a day 1 roster update or any day 1 small game updates...really hopin they release a roster update day 1 and not 2 weeks later cuz really wanted to start rolling earlier than ever with the start of franchise with full minors..doing any roster preps editing as i go...

This is the only game I purchase digitally and I went with the MVP Edition to coincide with my 4 day weekend.

The ability to be able to start our franchises with minor leaguers day one is huge and has me excited like a kid on Christmas morning for the 13th.

Having played the beta, they did just enough gameplay tweaking, along with the inclusion of full minors was enough to push me over. I almost was going to wait this year for the next gen consoles, but.........I think they really made some nice advances (even though Franchise was largely ignored).

Yeah I am pretty much in the same boat.

I am leaning towards picking up '20 because of the rule changes, new stadium in Texas.

The new gameplay additions or mechanics/upgrades whatever you want to call them are nice but I am not convinced they are $60 nice.

Then there is a part of me that looks at the new rules, mechanics and what not and its actually turning me off. There is a really big part of me that is about ready to let go for a bit and just let this game go. I LOVE '19 and have actually barely touched the surface as I struggled with settling in this year. Nothing to do with the game. I have had recurring depression and anxiety issues that have just been causing problems. I have literally started 15 to 20 franchises and keep deleting them and restarting. Honestly Im still having a hard time staying with anything as life has pretty much gone south.

So I may just wait it out. See what you all think. Watch some gameplay vids and look out for a price drop/wait for the 20 or so patches etc. Maybe this will still be a yearly pick up. Just maybe not a day one $60 pickup.
