Does anyone just play RTTS

I think looking at all the threads that I must be all by my self in this joint, but I only care about RTTS, I make my Closer and after a while I make a Center or Right Fielder and I am happy to go through the games and develop them.

Is there anyone else that actually cares or plays RTTS, cause if it isn't Franchise or DD it doesn't seem to get much airplay.

Not complaining just mildly curious, I will quite happily play MLB 20 and have fun

I think a lot of people just play RTTS. I believe Ramone even confirmed again this year that it was still the most played mode. For whatever reason though RTTS players don't really post much on any of the The Show forums.

RTTS only for me. I wish it had a the storyline depth of NBA 2K20.

I play RTTS every year and mix it up. I play every at bat of my career and every fielding opportunity (until I get to year 5 or so in the majors).

But I like to mix up the positions. In ‘17 I did Right Handed Power Hitting 3B. In ‘18 I did a Switch Hitting 5 Tool CF. And in ‘19 I did Left Handed Power Hitting C. For ‘20 I’m debating between a high contact and speed 2B or SS.

Idk why but whenever I do a pitcher I don’t get past year 1 in the majors. But I’ll gladly do 15 years of a position player

Yep at the end of every cycle I always clock more time in RTTS than any other mode. I use to be all about franchise but as we all know with the lack of attention to it I have fallen out of it. I just wish like others have said that they add more to it to really make it a great experience. It looks as though it will be about the same this year as last storyline wise.

I don't recall if they mentioned it but I really hope they put it back to being able to get drafted in the first round. I didn't mind them experimenting with being a automatic later round pick but I want my performance to decide when and where I get picked.

Yeah the "official"RTTS thread has been pushed all the way to page 7(211-245).
The last post(by moi) was on January 9th!
It's also true on The Show Nation.
I'm guessing we tend towards introversion-not all of us but most of us.

I usually play a ton of RTTS but last year I barely touched the mode at all. But I struggled last year with settling in. Not any fault of the game it was all my issues.

RttS is the only mode I ever play. I believe that last MLB The Show game I played that wasn't just RttS was 2012. So , yea, RttS is exclusively the only mode I play and that won't change going forward.

I do the same thing, except I usually play defense until I win a GG. Then after that it’s exclusively batting.

I used to only play RTTS, but now I play a good of amount of “RTTS within Franchise” because I want to control my player and Rob Manfred.

I’m a franchise first guy and only use accurate rosters. I don’t want to play minor league baseball and since the pirates are my favorite team, I’ve gravitated to rtts exclusively cause they suck. It’s also easier being a coach and married adult to play a 10 minute game instead of an hour of getting blown out in Pittsburgh.

it's (IMO) more interesting to build something from the cellar/basement up, than to have the keys to the penthouse just handed over to you

RTTS and Fanchise only for me. I'm not big into playing online. I played DD against the cpu a little in 19 but otherwise avoid the mode.

I've tried, but usually the third time I lose my jersey number I just can't handle it anymore.
