Franchise Import from The Show 19 Question

So I'm planning to import my franchise from 19(actually started in 18) and I'm currently at the very end of the 2020 season in my league. When would be the best to import my league to reduce import errors: before I start the off-season, Spring Training or Regular Season?

If you import it during Spring Training (you don't need to play the ST games if you don't want to) and before you begin the regular season. If you do this, you should be using the real world 2020 schedule.

I'd highly recommend doing separate saves at the start of the off-season, near the end of the off-season, and then during Spring Training if you make it that far.

Actually....you gotta import it before you advance to spring training. Otherwise you will not get the 2020 real world schedule.

I have my year 4 2017 Yankees franchise sitting in the last phase before advancing to Spring Training so I can get the real schedule (and rotate my interleague games like IRL).

I also have a save sitting in December in case of any funny business.

I’m confused.
I have created 7 teams in 19- I want to get those players/ teams into the Show 20.
I read that I have to create a franchise in 19 ...then carry that franchise over to 20 before I can export import players ...??? How do I carry a franchise over to 20 from 19..?

When you start a franchise in 20, there is an option to carry one over from 19.

So at that point carry over my 19 franchise and from there I can export and import players right...I get it now..
