Exactly. It’s never been just top 30 prospects strictly. Always has the real AAA/AA players too. Which I think is where people are getting confused and thinking that just because they’re not a top 30 prospect doesn’t mean they’re a fake player. Since now Reddit is saying regarding this thread that the rosters aren’t “full” and must be generic CAPs.

Yep I think the real question should be how many of the 90 players per team would be missing. and where probably looking more at 12 to 20 per team there.

So I guess he did clarify there were fake generic players. But there is always a day 1 roster update we can hope for.

Hope so man. Hopefully day 1 means friday if an update were to come out

The game actually hasn’t been officially released yet, so let’s see what tomorrow night brings.

I agree. The disc version of the game had to go gold weeks ago if not before that. Since roster updates are something they push to us regularly there is a good chance that we will see a roster update with more minor leaguers day 1.

I have a feeling that the players and ratings are one of the last things to be worked on.

Normally, I think I am pretty realistic or even pessimistic with my expectations when it comes to this game, but this is one case where I am optimistic that it will be remedied with a day 1 roster update.

No Nike catcher equipment

Single A I don’t recognize any of them from the Jays organization

Interesting side note to me is they used some of my CAPS from last year

I wish SDS would explain why Nike catcher equip is not in the game but Nike logo is everywhere else in the game including new unis???

Not necessarily a question for The Show 20 but just in general:

If I have a franchise with created players in it, does it transfer to the next version of The Show no problem?

Not necessarily a question for The Show 20 but just in general:

If I have a franchise with created players in it, does it transfer to the next version of The Show no problem?

As long as you've played at least one season, then yes. Rosters and created players will remain intact.

If they are smart they should have one ready tomorrow if they don't want to catch hell about false advertising.

Now whether it will be the final one? Who knows. It is still spring training. Teams have not even sorted out their own 26 man major league rosters yet.

Yeah but when tomorrow? my game unlocks in 11 and a half hours time being overseas.. which is 15 hours before the US. so I guess the big question is what US time will they have the updated rosters ready if it would be midnight in the US (which is 3pm here)

Again I don’t know enough minor league guys but googling names I’ve never heard of and if I’m judging off the jays I’d say 10 fakes per team give or take.

I’d say people need to calm down though. I don’t look at the rosters and think WTF is this???? They just aren’t of ridin and teams quality. I don’t think that should have been the expectation though. I said earlier that starting a franchise with these depends on preference. I’d like all real players with accurate ratings and potentials. There is undeniably some issues in those regards but they aren’t catastrophic which some people seem to be assuming.

With international players, is there something in contracts that limits them from being added to the game until they play? Wondering if they might be included in roster update prior to opening day, whenever that may be.
