Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
My guess is theres still going to be a paper work issue and a approval process once they play in the MLB level. Minors can be added now a lot easier but once they hit the MLB it could get tricky and be the way it was in the past.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
I am the one who asked this question when Ramone answered. Despite what they said, I do not think it needs to be down the middle (they did not really know the answer).
What I think happens is...
In Directional Hitting, the PCI does not move. So in order to get Perfect/Perfect on Directional, just like any other mode, the "PCI" needs to cover the pitch, and the best way to do that would be to be down the middle. But I do think there will be some wiggle room.
I believe whether you disable camera shift or not, when you push or pull the stick, the "middle part of the PCI" shifts. Meaning if I pull left as a right handed hitter, the middle part of the PCI is now covering the inside part of the plate.
What this means is, theoretically, if a pitch is in, and I pull my stick, my PCI is now covering that pitch, and with perfect timing...the pitch can result in perfect/prefect despite not being down the middle.
Hope you’re right. 🤞🏻

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
A few others things
you can edit service time for actual real players too it seems
secondary positions it looks like they added LF/RF and OF/1b 2b/ss/3b combinations which is great
there is a option for 2 way player but it is greyed out I am guessing you can only unlock that in franchise when you qualityComment

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
Yeah but I’m years past, as long as they played in regular season games the year before they were almost always included in next years game. These are two guys with major league service time so this is disappointingComment

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
It was on there if I'm not mistaken I will look it over again, but my guess gotta be some big reason we dont have it from 2014-2020 when we have had nike batting gloves, nike shoes, nike logo on shirts and nike advertising in ball parks.
Again I can't remember the last time catcher equipment got updated so there lies the problem.
Agreed, there has to be a huge reason!
Sadly, will never get an answer on why it’s not in.
