Is there a way to control how you slide to the base this year? It seems like they remove it.

RTTS Question: If you choose to be drafted by any team, is the end result always the Baltimore Orioles? I've tried this twice and have been selected by the Os every time.

It was always the Tigers when I did it. I tanked my scout days and got different results. I did a bare minimum scout performance and got drafted by Miami. It stinks, because I'd like randomness.

I just kept varying between doing well and stinking and luckily ended up with San Diego.

One question I have is how often do you get the option to go to a 2-3 year junior college instead of signing with a team? I've only seen the option once.

Some people put all the teams names on a piece of paper and pick one out of the hat. Then have that team choose you.

In RTTS, does your team only trade you when you request a trade or can they trade you at any time?

I've been traded many times.Of course you can't be traded once trading deadline is past.Trading slider will affect possibility also.

Who were you trade for? Was it realistic? And I have my trade slider at 5

Don't remember.I'm running 4 pitchers.I do remember 2 of them got traded and then got traded within a week again.Almost like a script.
                    Also have slider at 5.

Perhaps "multiple times" would be more accurate than "many times."

How can I effectively renew all my renewable players in the offseason. This is the only part that is confusing for me as I always lose them to other teams and don’t even get to February. So how can I go about it, since I want to trade for prospects now in July.

                        Thanks in advance!!

Summary of your specific problem: in order to keep a player on your roster, you have to offer them some form of a contract before a specific date. The offer needs to be at least 80% of last year's salary. Once you make the offer, they are locked onto your team. If they reject it, you can make another offer or unilaterally renew them in the weeks after arbitration are done but before spring training.

TL;DR you need to make some kind of offer early in the off-season

WarmWind thanks for doing so much heavy lifting for us in this game. I've found your guides very helpful. Especially the Directional Hitting guide.

I have a relief pitcher that came off the IL a day or two after the season ended. He’s on the playoff roster but he doesn’t show up in my bullpen. Is there any way to get him back? I’ve tried removing him from the playoff roster but it says he’s on the injured list, which he isn’t. Any help would be appreciated.
