Is there a way to control how you slide to the base this year? It seems like they remove it.

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
I just kept varying between doing well and stinking and luckily ended up with San Diego.

One question I have is how often do you get the option to go to a 2-3 year junior college instead of signing with a team? I've only seen the option once.Comment

Perhaps "multiple times" would be more accurate than "many times."Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
How can I effectively renew all my renewable players in the offseason. This is the only part that is confusing for me as I always lose them to other teams and don’t even get to February. So how can I go about it, since I want to trade for prospects now in July.
Thanks in advance!!Comment

Summary of your specific problem: in order to keep a player on your roster, you have to offer them some form of a contract before a specific date. The offer needs to be at least 80% of last year's salary. Once you make the offer, they are locked onto your team. If they reject it, you can make another offer or unilaterally renew them in the weeks after arbitration are done but before spring training.
TL;DR you need to make some kind of offer early in the off-seasonComment

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
I have a relief pitcher that came off the IL a day or two after the season ended. He’s on the playoff roster but he doesn’t show up in my bullpen. Is there any way to get him back? I’ve tried removing him from the playoff roster but it says he’s on the injured list, which he isn’t. Any help would be appreciated.Come on down and see the idiot right hereComment
