Ball 4 on a clear strike and my pitcher throws his hat on the mound in clear disgust. Haha.

Playing in Coors Field on a cold damp night and the fog that set in the stadium was absolutely beautiful. You could just see the chill in the air.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

The ball physics in this game are spectacular. Wind feels dynamic and natural, especially in ballparks with high wind factor, like Oracle Park.
Watch how this ball curves foul: linkComment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
When a hitter fouls a ball back, a lot of the time you can hear it bang up against a gate or grate or the like. It sounds great and the timing of it is always spot on.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
LMAO, Murphy's Bleachers! They put Murphy's Bleachers in the game!
This particular dinger was hit by Andre Dawson. Unfortunately I happened to be using the 1980 rosters, so he was on the Expos.
And yes, Murphy's Bleachers was there during the Cubs' putrid 1980 season (64-98, and dead last in the NL East). Actually, from 1965 to 1979 it was owned by a guy named Ray Meyers, and so it was called Ray's Bleachers. He sold it to Jim Murphy in 1980. So I guess the two anachronisms would be the bushes and the 2016 World Champions flag.

I was playing in Oakland and they had 2 fans having an arm wrestling contest on the 3rd base side grass while there was a pause in the action.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I know it's been in the game for several years, but I love the animations that are available in the outfield when you place your fielder on the border of the ball marker. 3rd outs can of corns is a little different than a late game or rally stopping catch.Last edited by Impetuous65; 04-12-2020, 02:22 PM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I was playing my Bacon’s Fictional Twins chise late last night and LF Bradley Williams on the A’s jacked one deep on me and proceeded to do a dance as he was rounding the bases.
Totally showing my pitcher up.
I made sure I plunked him the rest of his AB’s that game.
That SOB punk *** has a target on him the rest of the season.Last edited by Armor and Sword; 04-04-2020, 09:44 AM.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
On AUTO field, the pitchers this year have a ton of new animations re fielding the ball. Really nice.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
Well, lol, I can’t really explain them other than to say they are really involved, much more tan last year re making grabs, looking at the ball before they throw, etc., etc. They aren’t repetitive animations at all.Comment
