Playing as the Os and early in my home schedule any midday game there were a few inns where I was blind cause of the batters eye and the glare coming off it. I have changed camera angle since then and haven’t noticed it. Then again I’m not sure how many more home midday games I played since. I’m in mid May and the glare was definitely from the first week or two

I’m playing as the Phillies in my franchise and now I’m in a series against the Cubs at Wrigley. It’s April in my franchise so I noticed the ivy isn’t as green and lively looking as it is later in the season. Also, I hit a home run and I thought I heard the fans chanting throw it back like they do in real life at Wrigley Field. Does the game actually show the ball getting thrown back?Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
Really enjoying the stats they show right above the scorebug after every few pitches (how a player has fared the past few games, league ranking in a particular category, righty-lefty splits, career vs. pitcher, approaching career milestones, how acquired, when drafted). It's in small type and on the screen briefly, so I've come to train myself to look at the scorebug after each pitch to see what pops up.
This on the MLB the Show scorebug (lower right corner). I've noticed this either doesn't happen or it's much less frequent in games that use the MLB Network scorebug (upper left corner).
I also like how intuitive the stat overlays are. Hit a triple and they showed the league triples leaders. Was playing as the Indians and they showed teams with the fewest HRs (they were second to last). It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

I've hit a few balls foul into the dugout. It's great to see the players there react by ducking or jumping to get out of the way. Very realistic. I also like how it seems every player on the bench is rendered with a correct player model.Comment

I was going to post also that is the 1st version that modified the Ivy at Wrigley.
Yes this is pretty cool.Comment

Playing away at Dodger Stadium as the Padres and there was a solitary San Diego fan behind home plate for 2 of the 3 game series. His disapproval was very noticeable when I would fall behind in the count. He'd look around like he wanted to vent but obviously no one else cared or look down at his phone and shake his head.

I’ve never noticed before but the CPU pitcher will shake off the catcher occasionally. Thought that was pretty cool.

MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
You’ve gotta be f’ing kidding me ....
I knew about Wrigley ..
But so I’m post All-Star break with the Tigers and I see that tarp over the walls is baggier than normal, and there’s tape, like tape patching rips or whatever on the outfield walls at Comerica.
I ... uhh ... mind blown dude

Played as the Cubs for the first time yesterday, vs. Padres in NLDS at Wrigley. Neat HR celebration animation of players in bullpen dancing after home run. Must be a Cubs thing because I hadn't seen it with any other team.
Also, I noticed HR animations vary, from behind the batter as the ball is launched and you're waiting to see if it's fair or foul, to camera panning over outfield as you wait to see if ball is hit far enough. Saw a new one: Bryant hits ball into the left field corner, angle they show is from foul territory, view is blocked so I can't see if ball is fair/foul or deep enough, but I knew it was a homer from crowd reaction. It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Playing as Brewers vs. Mets in Game 1 of NLDS. Woodruff retired the first 12 batters he faced before Davis drops a double down the left field line. Miller Park crowd boos loudly as perfect game, though early, is broken up, even though I'm up 8-0. Checked the replay and some fans shaking their head in disgust and throwing their arms up in air. It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Overcast sky in Petco Park and noticed how the light and shadows changed on the cityscape over the course of the game. It started distracting me (in a good way) Like if you could look up at the clouds there would have been little breaks in the clouds and stuff. A small touch that really adds to the atmosphere.

Nolan Gorman was recalled from Memphis due to injury. He was a PCL All-Star this year while at Memphis.
On the batter walkup pop-up box, it referenced that Gorman was a PCL all-star this year.
Pretty coolI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I’m very disappointed as well I believe citi field hasn’t been updated in this game for a while because the backstop is bad . They need too add the Mets orange logo Behind home plate is not blue it’s orange . Also there’s no tv behind home plate at citi field lol the backstop is way offComment
