Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
that crossed my mind too. speaking of which, I'd like to have one generic cookie-cutter 50,000 seat multi-purpose stadium that's a sort of stand in for Riverfront, Three Rivers, Veterans and Memorial Stadium among others.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Was playing in Milwaukee Miller Park around the 5th inning they showed the fans dancing having fun then Matt Mentions “They Certainly know how to have a good time in Milwaukee “ I believe this just might be a Brand new style of Polka” lol this is dope being that Polka is Wisconsin state dance .Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
It is EXTREMELY satisfying when you hit the button to skip the cutscene and that same press ALSO triggers the practice swing. Hnnng.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
Played a game between the Dodgers and the Rockies in COL. The latter were leading by 11 and decided to send reliever Wade Davis to bat for himself in the 8th. He proceeded to hit a single in shallow right field. Mookie Betts picked up the ball and fired to 1st before Davis reached base ! Matt Vasgersian said Wow, he's out at 1st ! The other announcer said : how slow can you get ! I had tried that before but the first baseman was always away from the bag. Not this time though ! Yea, the little things... Well done SDS !Comment

Hit em with the Hein
I hit a walk off home run with the Mets and the announcer yelled "Hit em with the Hein". If you don't know, "Hit em with Hein" originated on the Howard Stern radio show and has been yelled a various sports and entertainment events... similar to Baba Booey. I don't know if this is exclusive to Mets games, but I was a nice surprise.Mets pitcher Tug McGraw, on whether he prefers grass to AstroTurf: “I don’t know. I’ve never smoked AstroTurf.”Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I don't know if this was patched in or if it occurred naturally from the start, but I've noticed the in between innings "fake-real music" has changed as my season has progressed with more songs added in, kinda like how the networks put in new music that's being promoted as the season progresses. Intentional or not I found that kinda neatComment

Hit a dinger with Martin Maldonado today and when he got back in the dugout for high fives someone splashed him in the face with Gatorade...I actually laughed out loud...it's really the little things...~ Return of the King ~Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I have been playing shorten (3 to 4 innings) minor league games lately. I was curious to find out how many player names were called by either the pulic-address announcer or the game commentator. To my surprise, there are very few players whose names are missing. Even players WITHOUT audio names are mentionned. Granted SDS did not live to their promise that ALL minor leaguers were in the game. it's very refreshing that only a token few are called by their jersey numbers. Well done, SDS !Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I noticed this while playing my Mets Franchise (I have a Tigers one as well). I was pitching as Marcus Strownan against Atlanta , and after the 3rd pitch, he grabs his shoulder, and they talk about how the trainer had to pop it back in place, and then the next inning, Brandon Nimmo hits a double, Markakis throws it, and instantly grabs his ribs. That rarely happens to me in this game.
And as a Tigers fan, I love how they added the real sponsors to Comerica Park. If only they could get Pepsi for the right field porch.PSN: SonofMotown

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
My closer Train Lucas (from Bacon's Fictional Roster) notched his 341st save and the commentary team mentioned that he is now tied with Rollie Fingers on the all-time saves list.Last edited by jrnlgrn; 08-01-2020, 04:55 PM."Listen son, you only have enough runs when you’re showering after a win."Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I am doing some player editing and the game went to Demo mode. The Cards and Phillies are playing. Cutch is at the plate. He hits a foul HR down the LF line and they showed the catcher physically putting back on his catcher's mask. The Cards catcher was wearing the hockey mask. I must say, unequivocally I have never saw this in game before!Comment

Its nice that you can see the managing record of a manager you are trying to hire. The real ones that are available have their real coaching history and the fake ones will have theirs filled in if/when they get hired and fired."Listen son, you only have enough runs when you’re showering after a win."Comment

Something I noticed when I made Prince Fielder: they kept his no doubt animation. Not a big deal, but still pretty cool.PSN: SonofMotown
