No this is done on purpose and should stay the same. This is to have equipment edits that change colors between home and road. Some players have white batting gloves or cleats at home and gray ones on the road. Setting those items to Team Color 3 allows this to be done.

I think the Yankees are reversed as my RTTS player wears gray cleats/gloves at home and white on the road. Maybe it just sees gray as an accent color at home and white on the road??

Will they patch in more throwbacks??? Would be awesome.


If not can they correct the 2002 Minnesota Twins Away batting helmet and give it the correct "M" and also fix the 1993-1996 California Angels Away caps and batting helmets with the proper NAVY bill. The home cap/helmet has a a Red bill while the away cap/helmet has a Navy bill.

I just can't believe it's been this many years and we still don't have the damn Spring Training jersey's with the numbers on the back. What in the actual blue hell is up with leaving those out?

I doubt we will see anything new. Teams wear throwbacks that aren’t in or never make it in. I also doubt you’ll see any throwbacks get fixed via patch. Just the way it always goes.

Sounds like you may have the colors set to Team Color 2.

Double check to be sure but I have Team Color 3 for the Yankees listed as White at Home and Gray on the Road but for Team Color 2 I have the Yankees as having Gray at Home and White on the Road which is what you see happening with you.

So now that I explain it I realize that the Yankees have their Midnight Navy as Team Color 1 but both Team Colors 2 and 3 change based on home or road.

Thanks that’s good to know. It was confusing me! I can now get some nice changes with both Colors 2/3 available to switch automatically. Reckon White livens up the Away Grays a bit.

The Astros only wear the stance socks with their orange and navy alternates at home. They wear plain navy socks with the white and grey uniforms. I wish they had this right so I didn’t have to edit all the players to no stance socks.

The Astros wear their stance socks if you choose their 1980 Home-Away uniforms. I use those all the time and their 1999 Home/Away/Alternates.

Just a few number font issues on throwbacks (only unis that I've used in the game, there might be more issues):

The 90s Astros number font is close but still way too inaccurate
The mid-90s Angels unis should have a block serifed number font, not a sans-serif font) this really should be fixed quite easily)
The mid-90s Brewers have a block number font instead of that infamous custom Germanic font.
The 70s Reds have a block serifed number font when they should not a sans-serif font.

They had the correct Dodgers ST jersey in previous versions and took it out this year. In years past they had it take up one of the BP slots, but now it’s just the same BP jersey for both home and away.

The Astros wear their stance socks if you choose their 1980 Home-Away uniforms. I use those all the time and their 1999 Home/Away/Alternates.

Speaking of the Astros 1999 throwbacks. Many teams have full throwback sets to different eras. How awesome would it be to be able to chose team colors and logos so we could choose those uniform set as out main set in franchise? Sure you can use them now but you still have to use the current logos/color scheme.
