I'm pretty sure your franchise will not carry over. Don't know what that issue is all about but the same thing happened to me on last years game when I tried to carry over my franchise from 18....Keep this is mind as you go through any roster you have. There have been random players missing from rosters as soon as you go to tweak your roster on anything and press auto fix. players disappear from your roster and show up in player search on your same team but there gone. If you do start up another roster keep this in mind if you start to change anything. I'm not doing a franchise until this problem gets solved. This game was rushed out too early and is incomplete.

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
Big patch in the morning on friday at 6am eastern. I read the details and I do not see a fix for the players that vanish after auto fixing rosters in roster management. Going to have to wait until the next patch before I start my Legend franchise. If players are going to just keep disappearing then there is no point on playing in franchise mode. For those who want the info here it is.
While MLB The Show 20 released in decent shape–especially by today’s standards of expansive titles that offer tons, but rarely are 100 percent efficient at the outset–there have still been issues.
One problem caused one of the game’s newest features, Custom Leagues to be shut down temporarily. It has been restored through a quick fix on Sony’s side, and now there is a larger update arriving early Friday morning.
It is the fifth patch released since the game launched on March 17. Here are the details, per The Show Nation.
Gameplay Tuning
Sony San Diego offered the following notes about the changes to gameplay”
“In multiplayer games, slight increases made to pitch accuracy across all interfaces, including accuracy increases to perfect pitch inputs.
Today In: Games
Remember that other than user input, the pitcher's BB/9 and difficulty setting standards remain the biggest factors in overall accuracy. If you hit perfect meter more often you'll benefit from this update more than someone who doesn't.
PROMOTED
Slight increases to exit velocities in competitive multiplayer.
Together, the end result should help pitchers hit their spot a little more and get slightly fewer meatballs, while batters don't lose offense overall due to the increased exit velo on balls they put in play.
If you haven’t already seen the clarifications made to the 1.04 update notes, you can read them here.”
For the most part, hitting in competitive modes has been a major focus of the post-release updates. However, as someone who spends as much–if not more–time playing offline, it’s great to see Sony separate the two experiences.
These should not be universal adjustments.
Other Gameplay Fixes and Adjustments:
Fixed an issue where an Outfielder would not lock in when trying to set up for a routine high fly ball, which resulted in the user losing control of the player.
Button Accuracy with Throw Meter turned OFF was resulting in too many perfect throws. This has been fixed and adjusted for balance.
Fixed a rare occurrence with button accuracy where the ball would not go to the intended target.
When pulling back late on a bunt, batters were often hit with the ball. We’ve adjusted the animation times so this should happen less frequently.
Fixed a rare situation where base hits could erroneously be called a fielder’s choice.
Of the issues identified here, I’ve seen an outfielder not lock on, and had a single scored as a fielder’s choice. Both happened one time, which is too often. Thankfully, it appears that’s been fixed.
Road to the Show
Fixed an issue where the weights would become stuck while playing the Squats and Strength mini-game.
Fixed various spelling errors and minor UI issues.
The spelling errors are a little embarrussing...err I mean embarrassing, but it happens.
User Interface
Batter walk-up stats in Franchise, MTO, and RTTS are now properly displayed for the current batter.
Fixed an issue where the Pause Timer was not displaying when a user was reviewing their Bullpen in online games.
Swing/Pitch info will now not display when selected “off”.
Fixed an incorrect error message that was being displayed when trying to add a player from a pack that was already in your squad.
Various other minor UI corrections.
I’d noticed the incorrect batter walk-up stats quite a bit in Franchise, and that’s pretty annoying, especially for an offline player. Accurate stats are part of the immersion. Without that appearing correctly on the screen, it becomes a little less realistic.
Miscellaneous
Fixed an issue where two-way players were causing year-to-year saves to not load correctly in Franchise and Road to the Show.
The trophy “Silver But It Feels Like Gold” should now unlock as intended.
Users will now be able to set a secondary position for a two-way player.
Various crash fixes.
The year-to-year saves is one of the franchise’s best features. The Show is still the only sports gaming series that offers this option. A disruption to this system could be terrible for a gamer who has been carrying over saves for multiple versions.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
Pitch count disappears on MLB Network's scorebar when it resets following the bullpen cutscene (don't know if its just THAT specific cutscene or it happens on others). It comes back after the next non-hit pitch (speed shows then P count comes back).
Have seen this in RTTS, presumably happens in other reg. gameplay modes.
E: It does not occur in RTTS/Player Lock when you are on base. Appears to only occur while you're up to bat.Last edited by MatrixTN; 03-29-2020, 05:32 AM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet? When starting a Franchise you set up all of your lineups and pitching rotation but as soon as you start the regular season all lineups get shuffled up and in some cases players are added to the lineups and pitching rotation that were not even there to begin with.

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
Basehit to outfield...the Cpu outfielder uses the “ New Animation” and short hops it...then he slowly and casually throws ball to cutoff ( meanwhile runner is advancing to second base) as runner can clearly be thrown out the cutoff man walks ball in from outfield..he arrives before baserunner ...baserunner walks safely into second.Last edited by tuckermaine; 03-27-2020, 11:23 AM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
I've reported the big five different times to Sony and nothing. They fixed these other issues instead. The players disappearing is not going to go away. I have found that if you start a franchise the player appears on the free agent list. Does me no goo as I want him on the actual roster I spent a week working on.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
I know I posted this before. But as a roster creator and custom league franchise player this has gotten so frustrating to me from the days and hours that I have put into this work that I have to keep posting it until it gets solved. I have posted this as a complaint to the show nation in hopes to get it across that there is a huge issue with players vanishing from rosters and found under player search but not on the roster. I looked to see if this was ever an issue on 19 the show and it actually was. Here is a post from a guy that ran into pretty much the same problem that myself and a lot of others are having.
Here was his perspective....
strange case of players disappearing from rosters
This is a strange one. I did some quick searching and couldn't find it anywhere in the forums...
In my historical league that started in 1901, I added one level of minors in 1910 (using the Spritze/Garlon 750 db, there seemed to be enough players to fill 16 minors teams). No problems in years 1910-1912...
Before starting the 1913 regular season, I scanned the minor-league rosters just to make sure there were enough players on each team, at each position. While doing this, I noticed that two of the teams had no players listed on the Roster, Transactions, Pitching, or Lineups sheets. My first thought was that for some reason the two parent clubs did not trim their rosters down to 25 and send players down the minors. But when I checked the two parent clubs, they had 25 players... I then checked the transaction lists to see if there was some mass-release of players, but no... So I then used the search feature to check on a few players who I know should've been on the minor-league teams; they showed up in the search screen as actually on the right team... Not knowing what else to do, I went to the roster screen and selected Action, Ask AI to Setup Complete Team Lineups, etc. And then the players appeared...
So at that point I just chalked it up to gremlins and moved forward with the season, but when I checked the teams after one week of sim play, the rosters were back to empty. And, to add more puzzlement, sometimes the Lineups & Depth Charts on the bottom of the screen will show the players, but no players will be listed in the main panel above it. The same is true on the pitching screen... I can keep asking AI to setup the team, but sometimes after one day, sometimes after a few, the players will just disappear from view...
Note that this is NOT a filter issue... Also, if I try to manage a game with these teams, I will get the starters listed in the starting lineups, but the entire bench is made up of Joe Unknowns. Not even the starters are listed on the roster in red, as they should be...
(Checking the Prevent AI Roster Moves boxes at the parent club level does keep the players from disappearing, but that's not really a solution.)
I can go back to a previous backup and hopefully the problem will not evolve again, but I am wondering if anyone has encountered anything like this before?
Thanks in advance.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
Only noticed this in Play Now with the most current default live roster but Marcell Ozuna’s 2019 stats are zeroed out on the loading screen before the game as well as on the scorebug when he comes up to bat. Not sure if this is a new issue. The Champ is Here!!!Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - Report Your Bug Here
The new screen at the end of innings keeps showing the wrong players and on pitching replays it’s showing teams backwards the play bye play guys are talking about the other pitcher and show the your pitcher in the replay. How did this kind of stuff get bye testing??? It’s like the stats bug in franchise they say they just fixed showing the wrong players stats.Comment
