Any idea as to why marcell ozuna stats from last season are not recorded when you start an exhibition game? Small issue but annoying all the same.

This is literally the buggiest sports game ever released. I'm not going to read all 220+ posts but here are my personal experiences.

• A ball rolled to the wall and was called a ground-rule double.
  In game graphics displaying stats are completely wrong.
  A man on 3rd did not return to 3rd after a foul ball, the runner was simply gone after he crossed home plate.
  A 3 run homerun that only credited 2 runs (I have video of this)
  Whenever I go to quick manage mode to steal a base the count will reset to either to 1-0 or 0-1, always. (This happened in '19 as well).
  Several players have their MiLB options used up who should not.
  In franchise mode, prospects either do not improve year to year or are never promoted. I'm in 2023 and neither Wander Franco or Joe Adell is in the Major League - this seems unbelievably unlikely.

Also, announcing is often talking about a different player than one at the plate, yet still seems to be talking about that player....

Again, this is sloppiest release I can remember. So much so it inspired me to create this account just so I could complain about to someone.

Ultimately probably a good thing LOL, but he's on my MLB roster, and when I go to insert him into the lineup he's nowhere to be found? Just a stupid bug or am I completely missing something?

Not sure if it is a bug or not. Someone told me they had the same thing happen to them on 19 where as I never did. But this years game I been noticing players missing from my roster and found out they disappear after you press auto fix rosters for any reason. You will find them under player search and it will tell you that he is on your roster but he won't be. This is a huge issue right now along with so much more. A very unfinished game as far as i'm concerned. Never been so disappointed in the show as I am this year. I'm finding almost 1 new bug every time I log on to this crap to try to do anything right now. At this point I am throwing in the white towel for a bit and going back to 19 the show until I read somewhere that all these bugs have been fixed. Due to situations in the world right now maybe they won't be fixed. These guys have to start spending more time on this game when it is in development and make the game actually playable and enjoyable rather then "what money making online mode can we slam in there this year that will load the game with bugs that we will just have to patch after launch".

Otani loses his two-way status when you start a franchise. I'm over this game.

Yeah you can still go in and put him in at DH in the start game screen, but still it's annoying you can't just put him in the lineup

In Rtts as a Catcher i dont get Arm strength and Arm accuracy i see it when i make a play but they dont calculate it with the stats.
I have more then enough cap just started and never got a point in ti

The CPU pitch logic is awful this year. I have been tracking the pitch location for the CPU when I have a man on 1st wiht 0 outs or 1 out (an obvious double play) and they will consistently throw high, with maybe 1 or 2 low pitches at bat.

For example I just had a man on first after a walk, the CPU threw 4 straight high pitches, 2 for balls, 1 for a strike and the 4th I hit for a single. Now with 2 men on and 0 outs still I track the 3rd at bat. 2 high pitches in a row, both balls. The 3rd for a strike dead center in the zone. The 4th finally low and away for a ball and the 5th a pitch dead center for a hit.

This is on HOF hitting, with pitcher control slider for the CPU turned up 1 (to no avail obviously).
The CPU pitch logic needs to be addressed. They are throwing high in the zone changeups, sinkers sliders, you name it, in situations that do not call for it.


It feels like the logic is bugged, they are throwing appropriate pitch types, just in the wrong location for the situation.

Rebranded Franchise
- Logo doesn’t show up on the hat on a players card.
- There is no ‘R’ icon for rookies on any screen.
- I moved Tampa to London, under a players morale it still uses Florida as the location.
- Under standings and top prospects the logo doesn’t have a background color.

After i changed players appearances (in this case Relievers) their OVR decreased by a few points. Their attributes however stayed the same.
