San Diego devs if you see this post.. Please add more detail to the mound and back stops please!!! Better textures for different materials and on the mound dirt, etc..

Also please add a rosin ball to the mound. I only ever see spikes unless I'm missing it. It usually sits in the back of the mound.

Another crash (9 now). Loading exhibition game with created stadium “something went wrong” knocked me out of the game. I have had the PS5 since January. RDR, Days Gone...no crashes. Friend plays MOM on PS4 and has had 2ncrashee mid game out of 6 played.

This still happens, and it's a bigger issue this year because we can't adjust the error slider without disabling XP (in offline play, although this is DD here). There's no way this should be ruled a hit.

Plays like this are subjective. I could see an official scorer ruling this either way. I call this a hit, you call it an error. Regardless, this animation happens on a regular basis in The Show and it drives me nuts too...

Playing the 1st inning SHowdown in DD. Had men on 1 and 2nd, hit into a double play moving the man on 2nd to third. He is the winning run, now on third with 4 outs remaining. He then just disappears. The bases are now empty, he doesn't count as being out, he's just not there any more. I end up losing, absolute nonsense

Was the runner that disappeared up to bat next? From what I've heard it happens when he's next but is on base at the time.

San Diego devs if you see this post... Please patch or update the resolution and textures of the grass, dirt and other low level objects please!! It's particularly noticeable when pitching in Broadcast view and or other times during the game.

I'm playing on PS5 if that makes a difference.

I'm seeing low/bad textures and also some framerate issues that affect textures. I have recorded video. Just put the environment on par with everything else and fix the lighting a little and this game is perfect!!

I dont know if this qualifies but in Showdown, I was playing an elimination game, won the game (on a walk off HR with 1 out left) but when I exited there was the dreaded server problem. When I was able to get back on, it said I didnt finish and counted a loss and I have to start over plus I am out 500 stubs. That doesnt seem right.

If I cant trust the servers I cant invest the time.

Second game of my season and I lost to the Phillies, 6-4. Max Fried gave up all six runs (all earned) but his final stat line (in game, boxscore and season stats) only show five runs allowed (all earned).

Long time player of MLB The Show, First time user on the Series X so I am not a newbie but I am having issues with downloaded rosters from the vault. I enjoy only playing with historic rosters but can not get any of my DL'ed rosters to load. They download fine, but when I go to "Roster Control" after loading a roster the roster is still this years current roster with no historic players on any team. Below are the steps I take to try to get a downloaded roster to apply.

I go to the following: File Management / Load / Rosters / Saved Rosters / I select one the downloaded rosters and it instantly shows 100/100 (Percent)

Then I go to the following: Create / Roster Control / Roster Control / Manage Roster - Import Player / I select a team / Here I see every player on the team and every team has this years current live roster and no historic players as it should since I just applied a historic downloaded roster.

I have uninstalled the game twice along with removing any user data backups. I was expecting many others to have the same issue but whenever I do a google search I can not find anyone else having the same issue as myself.

Please Help!

Sadly, no fix. I was trying to help my buddy who had the PS4 (me the PS5) and nothing worked. The downloaded roster defaults to the default roster every time. You are at the mercy of SDS fixing this, and how long that will take, nobody knows.

Have digital version on Xbox one standard edition and I'm unable to download rosters from the vault. Every attempt results in a crash of the game back to the Xbox home screen. Great first impression for this Xbox player

Any word on when they’re going to fix the vault still can’t download rosters getting a little ridiculous now
