Question for those who have the game (Carryover saves and relocation)

Do you have to begin a new franchise to relocate or can you carry over an existing franchise to mlbts20 and relocate after the season ends?

I haven't opened Franchise yet as I only played a quick 3 inning game (after the default Astros v Nationals while installing game.) But if no one answers you by when I get off work today I'll see if I can get you answer. I believe you can only do it at the start of a season but would have to confirm.

I've been working to finish my current season so I can carry over and relocate. Then I saw a video of someone creating a custom team when starting a new franchise. I would appreciate if you could check that out.

You can relocate teams that are part of carry over franchises during the offseason

You also have the option to create a team at the franchise team selection menu. That’s how I’ve been creating mine.

When you say relocate does that allow me the option of changing team name, logo, uniforms etc?

Yes. With Franchise relocation you can
1. Change team name and city (which only affects the in-game audio)
2. Change home and away uniforms
3. Change the home stadium

I really like the feature, but it’s pretty cut and dry. No new jersey customization features. Haven’t noticed any new team name audio files either.

Interesting. In order to carry over my franchise it appears I need to find a way to upload my franchise roster to the vault. Is that possible?
