I agree with the sentiments here. SDS used to be an "option" friendly developer. Some time ago they changed into this either or mindset. What's wrong with giving the player the choice? This is why PC gaming is still king in my book.

Not the square strike zone box per say, it's the solid or hollow white circle indicating strike or ball and the speed indicator.YouTube: MLB The Show 21 Atlanta Braves FranchiseComment

Re: Please allow us to turn off the post pitch graphic.
The main part that drives me nuts about it is how it shows the pitch type. I can stomach the ball outline being there because TV broadcasts do that with K-Zone. However, no TV broadcast that I’ve ever seen shows the pitch type thrown, instantly.

At first it annoyed me and I'd prefer to see it turned off but it doesn't bother me as much as it did at first.
I use manage mode press box view and it kind of ruins the immersion. From that view it's like you are sitting in the press box watching the game.
They should turn it off.≡Comment

The strike zone box stays open a lot longer too when pitching. Not so much when hitting. I hate this too and maybe these are all related in a way?Comment

Ok. Thank you. I wonder if what I mentioned and what this thread is about are related? I have seen the issue this thread is for too and dont like it either. But I especially hate it when the CPU or I guess me hit the ball and the Strike zone square box pops up a lot.

Do you have the strike zone box displayed in the game settings or is that turned off? because I've yet to see the box pop up after having it turned off in the settings.YouTube: MLB The Show 21 Atlanta Braves FranchiseComment

It's on. But after you hit it pops up again after the ball is hit and gets in the way of the ball so you cant see it sometimes.Comment
