With everything going on in the world right now, and more specifically for the sake of this discussion, the resulting effects the pandemic has had on the sports world, I am so happy and appreciative to have MLB The Show 20 right now.
A usual Saturday afternoon for me during this time of year consists of watching the NHL and MLB, but with neither available, The Show 20 has been a wonderful relief. I know that it's a complete unfortunate accident that this game was released during such troubling times, but it is a nice way to achieve my sports needs as well as to tune out the bad news in the world for just a few minutes.
While I do have plenty of old sports games to play, it really is nice having a brand new iteration to keep me occupied.
