    Too many k’s

Same as last year, my pitchers, even bad ones, rack up k’s too quick. What sliders do you adjust that won’t put things too out of whack with cpu hits. These dudes just don’t put the ball in play. 12-16 k’s every game. Help!

too vague of a question... what's your skill level? further (different question), what difficulty do you play on? what pitch controls do you use? which pitching camera?

I'd begin with Human sliders Pitching Consistency & Control, bump down one click to 4 on both. that might be enough for you but for me personally I also play with CPU Contact, Power & Solid Hits at 4 as well. I leave Strike Frequency at default, when I change that by as little as one either way, it's been my experience to change things too drastic for my preference

All star. I use the one where you flick r3 while holding position of the pitch.

I fee like I shouldn't adjust my consistency to make it worse since I give up plenty of runs. I just wish it wasn't a hit or a K.

and lowering consistency will help replace those hits with walks, amirite?

you shouldn't give up more runs, you may even wind up giving up less if those BB's are replacing homers and doubles. heck, even singles will drive in more runners than walks.

2019 was the second straight season where strikeouts outnumbered base hits.

Too many Ks? Take it up with the real teams. They're going for the three true outcomes above all.

Is that how it works? i thought they would get hits in the same percentage of ABs and would have more runners on base. I suppose double plays may get me some extra outs that aren't K's, but my walk numbers are pretty close to reality -- and I leave plenty of pitches over the center of the plate already =p

True but I have guys with 55 k/9 ratings striking out over a guy per inning...thats not right.

Unless you're a beginner, you should be playing at HOF level at the least. All-star level is just too easy. HOF and Legend mode forces you to not throw so many pitches in the strike zone. Challenge yourself.

If you want realistic stats the first thing I’d do is stop using analog pitching. It’s too easy to paint corners even with control and consistency on lower values.

some of aren't blessed with button mashin' talent. some of us might not even have the time to accrue enough playing to be HoF'ers. but plenty people enjoy baseball just fine at all-star or even veteran level, maybe even lower. for my best experience I like to tilt the sliders in the cpu's favor then set to Dynamic Difficulty. good baseball is good

It's all about the slider's. Armor & Sword Marino do great slider work for all sports video game's.

Also you can't make a judgement after handful games too.

All the games has to be judge on your human input. Meaning playing at least 30 games.

CPU will adjust to your pitching skill or it has in previous version's of the Show
