Before I start my draft I'm wondering what is your draft strategy and or tips for how you draft?

      SEATTLE MARINERS FANTASY DRAFT UPDATE:

In the surprising development the MLB has to decided to do a draft with all the current MLB and MILB players entered into the draft. The Mariners ended up getting the 5th overall pick and were hoping Mike Trout would somehow fall down to the 5th pick but it wasn't meant to be. The 4 picks before the Mariners pick went as follows..

      Astros(1): RF Aaron Judge 98 A
      Orioles(2): RF Cody Bellinger 96 A
      Cardinals(3): CF Mike Trout 99 A
      Padres(4): 3B Nolan Arenado 99 A

And then the Mariners pick came up and they were left with the difficult decision of who to pick. They debated going with SP Jacob DeGrom or SP Max Scherzer both 99 overall or choosing between 3 potential MVP Candidates year in and year out. The 3 hitters were CF Mookie Betts(93), RF Ronald Acuna Jr.(96) or RF Christian Yelich(94). It was a agonizing choice for the Mariners who felt they couldn't go wrong with any one of those 5 players. But ultimately the Mariners felt they wanted a everyday player over a pitcher who impacts the game once every 5 days. So that brought the potential picks down to 3 players in Acuna, Betts and Yelich.

They Mariners wanted a player that was a "5 Tool Player", so they went deep into scouting reports looking at all the analytics and scouting grades they could possibly find on those 3. Ultimately they came to the realization that unfortunately Christian Yelich didn't fully fit the mold with the 68 Fielding and only 52 Arm in RF. So that left RF Acuna and CF Betts who each fit the true 5 Tool Player mold the Mariners were looking for. They preferred a player who could play up the middle (C,2B,SS,CF) so with 97 Fielding compared to 73 Fielding the Mariners finally came to agreement on who they wanted to build their team around.

The Seattle Mariners with the 5th Overall Pick Draft.....

Most of the time I just try to get Good young players at every POS.
This year however I tried to get some young prospect that might be ready middle of 2020 or in 2021 and get some older players, along with some young players as well. I wanna try and keep as much of the team together for as long as possible

Ok so didnt look at my team all the way after I drafted it, so I redrafted with the 9th pick overall and instead of taking Chapman with the first pick (Since I have Alec Bohm close to coming up) I decided to take Pete Alonso with the first pick and just took Miguel Cabrera to play 3rd until Bohm is ready.

I guess I could of just moved Chapman to 1st but he is GG at 3rd so I decided to draft again. All the other players are the same as the last draft

              K: CARLOS MARTINEZ (37)
              ERA: BRAILYN MARQUEZ (1.26)

Overall our pitching was excellent, our SP had weren't amazing but our bullpen is definitely a strength. On offense McNeil couldn't get anything going from the 3 hole hitting (.205) for the spring with 1HR. Bell also had a tough spring hitting (.206) with only 3 HR. Hopefully they pick it up come Opening Day only few days away.

So my power went out while I was saving last night and corrupted the save file 😭 so had to restart the fantasy draft again. Team came out a little different from the last team and am going to be doing multiple saves from now on. I'll show the team after I sim to Opening Day.

Are you able to do 30 team control but only do the draft for one team?

Unfortunately no. You will need to draft for every single team.

What I would suggest is to have a notebook and notate what position you have drafted for each team as you make your picks.

If you want to make it totally fair.....you should draft the best player available based on the position need’s to fill out the 26 man roster first and foremost. Then you can start taking best prospects or player available based on the teams needs.

Would you guys rather start a franchise with LF Juan Soto or SS Fernando Tatis Jr??

Also is anyone else having the milestone bug where they say so and so broke all time he record or hit record etc? Do you have to play first game to get rid of that?

**** that is a hard decision. I would take Soto, can get a SS down the line

I dont know if I have had this problem I do not play usually with the sound on

I ended up going with Tatis and in the 3rd round LF Austin Meadows was there. So I feel like I definitely made the right choice lol

And it happens to me when I'm in the main menu screen of franchise then the radio show comes on to update what's going around the league. So I'm hoping when I start this franchise if I start the very 1st game then that won't happen
