I have played the first 9 games of opening day now.. with baseball looking like we won't see any at all this year I figured it's time to create my own nice world where it is the reality and exists.

a toss a coin before a game and that is who I play as for that game randomly.

I will doubt I will get 162 x 15 games all played and playoffs but it be interesting to see how far I make it. it's nice knowing when looking at stats though that I played every single one of them

Anyone else as crazy as me?? I am trying to play 2 or 3 games a night. it's my baseball fix as though it's really the season and I am loving it.

I wish someone would do this and record them to YouTube so we can watch our favorite teams have their season. I am stuck in Xbox so I can only get my show fix via twitch or YouTube.

Every game with every team, good luck. That's 5 games a day for almost a year and a half, and that's just the regular season.

Just as crazy as you! Although I'm doing it a bit differently. Still do the coin flip, but, I play a day and then manage a day. I just finished opening day this morning. Once done with work today I'll manage every game on day two and then get started on day 3. Enjoy your franchise, I'm loving mine already.

I thought about streaming mine, but I'm totally clueless as to what equipment and services I'd need. Never streamed before.

As a franchise player, it saddens me to think that the OP could get through multiple years in franchise mode instead. But to each their own.

Well I made it through opening day and it took me a week. on this pace a day = a week LOL! but day 2 doesn't have as many games

what is really spoiling it so far is the stupid bug of franchise stats when the player comes up to bat the stats are all over the place they gotta fix this crap soon it's annoying

If you play 5 regular season games every day it will take you 486 days. Spring training and postseason not included.

Just an update I have finished day 1 and 2 and started game 3. still having fun with it controlling every stat and helping get those damm sliders right a few games had home run Darby type games but it's calming down now with slider changes

I'm assuming that you're using quick counts and in some cases the quick manage options?

185,000+ plate appearances, I'd at least consider quick counts, no shame in that.

not a fan of quick counts to be honest I don't get the feel of the at bat


anyway soon work will get shutdown and we were all be at home and I will be able to fit in 10 games a day!!

What roster are you using niner?

I am using the default roster, but I had exported over about 200 players day 1 across from last year so It's my own roster and imported a lot of Houston's CAP.

what I did was for guys like Tommy Hunter and Brett Cecil was export them over. then when Houston put them in the vault I took a video of them and edited them in the franchise roster to get the face etc in the game. (wish they had a simple import for this it takes 30 mins!)

I also made a few fake A ball players with some service time, just in case throughout the year I have some up my sleeve to edit manually that won't be rookies (that annoying R icon would go away)

Yesterday I had a variety of games and it's really getting realistic here the Yankees Os games was a home run Darby (as it would be in real life LOL) and the cardinals had a 1-0 win against Reds it was a 1 hit shutout.. and our first complete game shutout from Strasberg. in a nats 8-0 over the mets

I finally think I have the sliders I want where the games have a complete variety and realism watch the patch screw it up for me LOL

Also note I have been managing the CPU's BP myself. because they are still DUMB DUMB DUMB. bringing in LR even if they are gassed if the starter goes out. not bringing in setup guys unless they have a 1 or 2 run lead. I been trying to control the CPU BP as best I can how a manger really would, if I think they are about to make a ******* move I quickly move the controller over before they hook the player.

I am not aiming to win every game here I am aiming for realism and a balance in every game and fun. so far I am and I don't mind losing.

The AL East so far have come out on fire Yankees Rays and Red Sox blowing teams away. but the Blue Jays after being down 5-2 were about to go 0-3 to start the season but blasted to a 10-6 win over Boston. after Boston Imploded with about 4 errors.

and Yes I have played every single pitch so far, no quick counts no simming at all, this is my MLB season this year in the real world with no baseball haha

Also been playing the games in order of the time they play on the schedule so all the 1pm games 4pm etc
