#14 Angels @ Astros -- Finally broke through with double-digit runs with one of the teams. Astros kicked the ball around the field to the tune of 4 errors.

Game 16 -- Red Sox @ Blue Jays. The field still looks like a giant mitt for the Jays hitters, lots of well hit balls with no rewards.

Game 17 -- Phillies @ Marlins. First complete game shut out against. Fastballs that touch 101 combined with plus change and curve balls equal a batting nightmare!

How are you picking which team to play as? I’m doing just the American League and I’m playing as the home team in every game with the exception of when the AL is the visitor during an interleague game.

And by every pitch, I mean digging into the box and taking each plate appearance for the batting team! I've never been a huge fan of pitching, so I guess think of me as the ultimate virtual designated hitter.

Every half-inning I switch teams so that I am always batting.

While I can't help but favor certain teams in real life (see my avatar pic), I find that I like batting so much that each team gets an equal amount of love.

I’m doing teams ranked 1-30 and I play a series as each team. It’s like a power ranking deep dive.

Today I decided to do all 2430 games, but not as radical as you. Originally I wasn't going to do it because I've rebranded the Nationals into the Expos in a franchise and I selected the Old Miami stadium as my home team stadium. But I didn't want to do a marathon season because I thought SDS would provide better stadium options in MLBTS21 especially for the PS5. But there might not be a MLBTS21 and/or might not be a PS5 and I didn't want to carry over my franchise into the game next year. However production of both products could be delayed and even if there is a MLBTS21, it might be scaled back a lot because there is only so much the devs can do if they can indeed work from home but collaboration within their respective teams could be limited compared to when they all work in the same facility.

So yes onward to 2430. Except as I said mine won't be as radical as yours. I hope to play all 162 of my own team's games as full broadcast no-quick count games. But the other 2268 games of the single season franchise will all be CPU vs CPU games fast play but no-quick counts games. Now I might watch the odd inning from the odd game, but I won't be watching most of the games. They will be playing on the console while I am off doing something else around the house which is easy to do these days since I am working from home thanks to the Wuhan Red ###.

Your reasoning seems sound to me. Regardless of next year's game/ps5 status, I'm going to need 2+ years to play everything out so I haven't really thought that far ahead.

Whichever way you decide to play, have fun! Also, you know, keep up the staying home. Protect yourself and others by playing the #### out of the Show, it's your duty!

#22 Twins @ Athletics -- The Twins battered the A's with soft flare single after soft flare single. I'm behind Guys_Whogame's 2430 grind, but I'm in early agreement with him, the Twins look like an impressive squad.

#24 -- Tigers (1-0) at Indians (0-1) -- All-in-all, a pretty close game. Game came down to one team having contact problems (again)

#25 -- St. Louis (1-0) @ Cincinnati (0-1) -- gonna stick with Crosley Field for the Reds, not sure why but I've never been a huge fan of GAPB. Maybe it's just too small for my tastes.
Anyways, had a small personal temper tantrum. St. Louis' starter was a lefty, which with my favorite camera angle is a bit harder to track out of the hand as compared to righties. Meanwhile the Reds threw a guy who had some extreme lefty cross-fire action going. I could not pick up either guy, and eventually I switched over to retro view after the nth terrible swing at junk out of the zone. It was OK for a bit, but with a more traditional view I cannot pick up offspeed to save my life. Eventually I switched to pitcher offset, we'll see how that one goes. Needless to say, this was a low-scoring game.
