Good luck with Starks. Like I said earlier when Starks is good he is really good. I had him start the other day and he was masterful. He pitched 8 innings only gave up 5 hits a run and had 8 K's. By far his best performance all season.Sent from my moto g(8) plus using Operation Sports mobile app

I started playing every game since I finally found a slider set (josh). The rosters for each team is amazing you can tell what teams are missing just one or two pieces. 3 full games in and the Braves hitting is no joke.Comment

Man this game is out to get me. Now Kobe Yamamoto is out for 1-2 months! So that's 4 MLB outfielders all currently injured and over the course of the season 3 of my minor league outfielders have been injured for 1-2 months roughly during the same period. [emoji34]

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
LOL I had to type out everything just to keep it straight. This is the evolution of my outfield so far:
LF, CF, RF (backups):- Fader, Rodriguez, Dodson (Sweet, Danks)
- Fader, Rodriguez, Dodson (Sweet, Dawkins) Danks out Dawkins in via trade
- Dawkins, Rodriguez Dodson (Steiner, Sweet) Fader injured Steiner is called up from AAA
- Dawkins, Sweet, Dodson (Steiner) Rodriguez Injured no replacement
- Steiner, Dawkins, Dodson (Yamamoto) Sweet injured Yamamoto called up AAA
- Dawkins, Dyer, Dodson (Yamamoto) Steiner out Dyer in via trade
- Dawkins, Dyer, Dodson (Johnson) Yamamoto injured Johnson SS/LF called up from AAA, 2 other infielders also can fill in outfield when necessary.

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
It's definitely been interesting trying to keep a decent outfield together. I'm past the trade deadline now so it's just moving pieces around and hoping everyone stays healthy. The trades I made were just moves to strengthen the outfield and then the injuries would happen. Overall the defense was/is solid. One of the injured is likely to be back by the start of September the other 2 are questionable but could be back if we make it to the playoffs.

It's at 6. I was in June when my first big MLB injury hit the rest had been bumps and bruises.

This guy has been lights out since I traded for him in May. Had a perfect game going into the 7th. 1 out triple in the gap ended that (GO erased the SHO as well).
85 pitch CG!
We’re on a roll, 10 wins in a row. Tied for second WC and only 2.5 out the Mets (were 8.5 out before the break). If your a fan of jerseys and uniforms in sports,

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
As I'm getting close to the end of the season I constantly find myself looking to the off season. I didn't think it would be tough letting some of these guys go but it will be. They've all started growing on me even the under performers. Contract demands, age, performance, to much depth some changes are ahead for sure. I'm thinking the pitching staff will remain mostly the same but the rest of the team is pretty much up for grabs beyond 4 or 5 players.
Just have to buckle down and put on that GM hat and make some tough decisions when the time comes.

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
Well after my first season my team the Turtles (old Seattle) got beat I'm the ALCS by the BlueDevils(old BlueJays) I couldn't get Flash Miller out so this off season made a big splash signing Will Palmer to help out pitching staff and then made a big trade for a better Cf in Hack Stephenson and myself the 3b went from an 84 last year to a 99 because of a great playoffs he had .. I think this team is solid and look forward to season 2 of this Franchise 20200509_165428.jpeg20200509_165431.jpeg20200509_165514.jpeg

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
Hello again everyone, Len Kasper along with Jim Deshaies as we bring you a quick update on the battle for first place in the NL Central.
Going into this 4 game series, the Cubs held a slim half game lead over the Reds. Game one saw the Cubs win a close one 2-1, the lead grew to 1.5 and Cub fans could breathe a little but that was the only highlight of the series JD.
Yea Len, the Reds took game 2, 2-1 to close the lead once again. Game 3 was a great game, 12 innings, back and forth but the Reds prevailed once again 6-4. The loss would knock the Cubs out of first place where they have been since opening day. The Cubs felt good going into game 4 with Ace Edwin Rodriguez on the Hill. The Cubs would grab an early 1-0 in the first, then in the 5th the wheels came off as Rodriguez who was cruising along gave up 3. The Cubs would go ahead in the 8th on a 2 run double by Jack North giving the Cubbies a 4-3 lead.
Things looking good in the 9th with closer Mario Oquendo coming in, but after a walk and 2 singles, he would hit the next batter and the Reds would tie the game. The Reds eventually came out on top in the 14th 7-5, and that gave them a 3-1 series win and extended their lead to 1.5 games over the Cubs.
JD, the Cubs welcome the Orioles to the friendly confines for a quick 2 game set, then it's off to Cincy for another 4 game weekend series. Don't forget, we have the Draft taking place tomorrow and we'll have a recap of who the Cubs picked, should be an interesting week ahead.
For Jim Deshaies, I'm Len Kasper, we'll see you tomorrow Cubs fans with a Draft recap.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
Just finished May in my main franchise.
My Las Vegas Blackjacks are now first in the NL West with a 41-17 record. I upped the difficulty but this team just keeps on winning so I'll be adjusting sliders a bit.
In my most recent game, I lost star left fielder, Austin LeFave, to a fractured shin for at least one month when he was attempting to score on an inside-the-park home run in Boston.
Draft is in 3 days.

Fantasy Draft, day 1 as the Oakland A's Clinton Lake CF is a beast, he hits in my clean up spot and King Hitter 1B is hitting third. I won the first game against the Twins on a 2 run HR in the 3rd AB in the game. Won the game 2-1, Baseball IS better.
