I asked this question in the Q&A thread and got no response(not surprised)so I thought I try here.
Imported 4 pitchers from 19 into 20.No matter what view I take the camera does not move in many situations.For example when my SS throws the runner out at first(or doesn't) the camera doesn't show the first baseman catching the ball.Same with the other team stealing second base-the camera doesn't show the play at second.
I've figured out I can press the L2 key but that seems clunky.
I've been reading the 3 main forums since the game came out and I never saw any posts mentioning this which I find hard to believe.
Any corroboration or denial would be appreciated.

Wow-thanks-I can't believe people are ok with what to me seems like a big change.Can you imagine if watching baseball on TV was the same?But again thanks for the reply.

That(if the play was at first) would make my pitcher start running to first.Some times that's good-sometimes not.I also noticed they changed a bit of how that plays out also-but that's a different topic.

I'm wrong-left stick makes pitcher move.Right stick moves camera but not in any easily controllable way in my opinion.
Just used to the game working a certain way for 6-7 years.

If you press R3 (thumb stick button) the camera follows the ball. Give that a go.

So I usually do a SS/2B/CF, but Im trying a 3B right now. Does anyone else have TONS of bunts at 3rd? I've had games where it makes no sense for them to bunt and they will. Perfect example, 2 outs and runner on 1st. Catcher with 6 speed lays down a bunt and gets thrown out by 17 steps to end the inning.



Also for whatever reason, I think it may be a mental block, I can not pick the ball up off the bat from 3rd like at 2B or SS

I know I’m late to the party with this reply, but I’m doing a catcher in TS20 for the first time in 12 years playing The Show, and I am experiencing ridiculous bunts and steals also. Completely useless steals by slow runners, in nonsensical situations and bunts with two strikes and two outs. I thought it might have been a catcher thing to build up defensive attributes. Sounds like it’s not just catcher.

I actually logged a bug about this and suggested other non-forced-unrealistic-plays ways to increase attributes. Kids learn from this game, after all!

I’m sure that everyone who plays RTTS knows by now how the difficulty works. If you’re playing on veteran it’s really rookie in AA, veteran in AAA, and all star in the MLB. My question is does anyone know if you stay on legend difficulty, when you make it to the MLB, does it cap out at legend? Or is there some secret code that makes it more difficult than legend since the difficulty would technically be one level above where you set it.

I’m finally healthy (knock on wood)for a full season. In the running for NL MVP. Got injured the last 3 seasons. I just got to finish the last 20 games lol

It’s gon be even more real next season. I’m a free agent looking for a 400 million dollar 10 year deal. So when I get it. I’m just gonna give up. I’m gon be rude to teammates and my manger. Disrespect my opponents. Bat 0.977. I want to see will they send me to the minors making 40 mil a year lol

Won NL mvp
Swept in the 1st round even though i hit 3 dingers including a grand slam
Left the Mets for their city rivals
Signed a 8 year 240 million dollar deal with the Yanks
Started current season with 7 HR and 21RBI through 15 games
Hot start ain’t last. Currently 4/16

Not sure how frequent this is but my RTTS catcher just got traded by the Yankees in the middle of a series vs the Rays - to the Rays. As a left fielder. Well I was asked after traded if I would try LF so I gave it a go after 2.5 years behind the plate.
