I'd gladly trade my luck with your's. It's been like this for me ever since MLB17 and I have no idea why. The last game I played before that was MLB14 and I still had to wait at least a season or two before I made the major league club, and even then I usually got sent down a time or two. Nothing kills the immersion more for me than getting called up way too soon and immediately being handed full starting duties right from AA.

Your lucky im Cubs 2nd baseman at 71ovr but with equipment im around 85ovr I lead double AA in almost every category except Walks and haven't gotten called up yet and its a week after the all star game. i love getting called up expeditiously as long as i am performing and no one is blocking me.. Which is why it makes no sense that the Cubs havent called me up yet

I created a left handed hitting SS for the Yankees named Dirk Hammer with anomaly archetype. I play on DD but have it locked in at HoF. I played my entire first year in AA and hit .285, 30 HR, 84 RBI, 15 STL. The next year I started the season as the starting SS. I killed it in April. .327, 12 HR, 27 RBI and won rookie of the month. Then they made trades and I was promptly sent to the bench which was pretty lame since I was crushing it. I originally had no secondary position but I changed that to any IF position to get into the game. My average, .260, isn't great but I've had 232 ABs with 28 HRs which would put me at 8.3 AB/HR or the 5th best in MLB history. Anyone else think there are too many HRs? I get a lot of crushable pitches.

Literally after my first game from this last post i went 0-4 with 2Ks and then got the call that i was going straight to the show and skipping AAA altogether. I was so ecstatic, my first game was against the Giants i went 3-4 all singles sadly.. Although we did lose 3-7 i had a great debut game.my goal in the majors is to have more walks than strikeouts but idk if its possible with how swing happy i can get

Personally no but what hitting do you use because i use zone and it seems fairly realistic imo

Might have to go with the Franchise Player Lock for my SP.

It kills the realism when I get called up too quickly but this was the topper.

Not even halfway through my first season of AA, with a 4.50ERA i get called up to AAA, okay not great but whatever, I'll just suck here so I can either get sent back down or avoid getting called up again.

Finish the year in AAA with a 3-10 and a 7.50ERA... I literally would get rocked on purpose.

Next season starts, get an invite to spring training, not ideal but if I suck back enough they cant put me on the Opening Day roster.

Each outing I walk 4 and allow a run, finish with a 162.00ERA. Still get called up to start the season on the Opening Day roster. Why Why Why.

Has anyone else experienced this issue. As a 2B (could be same with SS but I don’t have experience playing there) but with a man on first and 2B is playing normal depth (2 outs or not playing double play depth), on a stolen base attempt the catcher will make the throw and there’s no chance of the 2B getting to the base and he just stops running and catches the ball 10 feet away from the base?

Is anybody’s team allowing as many home runs as my Tigers are? I’m a RF and I have fielding set to occasionally. EVERY TIME I’m out there to field it’s a home run over my head. I got swept by the Yankees last series and 3 fielding plays in a row were no doubters over my head.

Granted I get I am on the Tigers and they’re pitching is horrific, but I’m almost to the point where I need to adjust the A.I. sliders, which I don’t want to do.

Edit: first game of the series vs the Blue Jays, first fielding opportunity, the 8th hole hitter (batting .178 on the year) blasts a 3 run shot over my head.

I made a starting pitcher using the Control Freak template.

I should probably up the difficulty from veteran but I dominated AA, becoming the starter in the all star game. Then in my first game after the All Star game I pitched my first ever perfect game.

I was immediately called up to the MLB team (bypassing AAA altogether) and put in the rotation. Pitched and won my first game there but strikeouts were harder to come by and I gave up more hits. But I was facing the Marlins. I need to see how I fare against a better hitting club.

Created a 3b, anomaly type and got drafted by the Reds (my favorite team nonetheless). Set my second position as 2B/SS because I know Suarez has me blocked at 3B. Dominated in AA in my first season but only got called up to start the 2021 season. They offered me a bench role but after a few games the manager asked if I would be 1B. I have zero desire to play first but the Reds have Suarez and India at 3B blocking me so I may as well try 1B to get some ABs at least. Currently in mid-June and I am the leading vote getter in the ASG

Finished first season at AAA for Padres as starting pitcher. Between AA and AAA I was 14-2 with 2.21 ERA. Beginning of next season I’m told there is not room for me as a starter and I may have to try being a closer?? Really!lol

Anyone know how to be in the right position when an infield shift is on? I play SS and even with a shift I start in my normal position. I try to move my guy over but I can only move about 4 feet when I should be at 2nd for lefties and closer to 3rd for righties. And of course the CPU always seems to hit the ball where I should have been.
