Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but is there any way to pick which team you get drafted by? It took some finagling in previous iterations of RTTS, but at least it was possible. Is it still possible?

Is there no way to use presentation opt-ins in RTTS? I'm on full presentation mode, and even when I'm in "Watch Full Game" mode, the scene where lineups etc should be between batters is just a blank, empty transition with no opt in choice. Before this year when you didn't have to opt in, it just always showed the lineups. Now with opt-ins, it seems you aren't even given the choice in RTTS and It just leaves you with various, audio-less moments

I think after the rookie showcase and before the draft, in my test run RTTS, I asks you if there's a certain team that you want to be drafted by. I chose the A's and got drafted by them. I only tried once and got drafted by them. So maybe its 100% but I'm not sure.

I usually don’t play this mode and I stick to franchise. But because of drsublime he was able to make a face for me so I started playing. I got drafted by the Mets. At first I was doing the fielding and the running and hitting. But I got tired of running and fielding lol. So I’m just hitting. I’m still In the double a. Me and Tebow are trying to get promoted.

What's up with rtts infielding this year? The game doesnt seem to have the shift indicators this year or give you enough time to even move around pre-pitch.

Anytime a double play or steal is in order, I cant even get to double play depth before the pitch is thrown. And if a runner steals I cant even get close to the bag, because im forced to field so far out.

yes this is what i hate, the other day the winning run was on 3rd, and 1 out, and i'm a 2nd basemen, and i was way to far back when it started, and didn't get the time to move him in to cut the runner down at the plate, and the ball was hit to me and being far back, my throw to the plate was way to late, and we lost, if i started in like my other teammates were, i would have easily gunned the runner down at the plate.. I don't like this at all.

Luckily they moved me to Third Base, but there are still no shift indicators for when I need to guard the line or get in to Bunt Defense. Not sure the reasoning for removing these and the lack of time to even move into proper positions now.

This nearly ruins fielding in RTSS altogether. Kinda suprised this hasnt been addressed or explained.

Can someone who has experiences with the diff archetypes help me out? I’m trying to make a Javy Baez build at 2nd. I’ve been messing around with rock steady but I’m wondering if there’s actually a better alternative? You can factor in equipment boosts too. Thanks

hi guys, player from HK. I've built a southpaw flamethrower SP with 4seamer (94-98mph), 12-6 curve (77-82mph), slider (82-86mph) and a SFF (82-86mph) accordingly. My 12-6 curve and SFF doing quite well as strikeout pitch or as a combo to strike the batters out. Hoping to get some advice on the 5th pitch selection from you guys. Cheers.

So I usually do a SS/2B/CF, but Im trying a 3B right now. Does anyone else have TONS of bunts at 3rd? I've had games where it makes no sense for them to bunt and they will. Perfect example, 2 outs and runner on 1st. Catcher with 6 speed lays down a bunt and gets thrown out by 17 steps to end the inning.

Also for whatever reason, I think it may be a mental block, I can not pick the ball up off the bat from 3rd like at 2B or SS

I’m currently an 83 overall SS with the Tigers in my 3rd year. Spent my entire first year in the minors, was in AA through July and finished in AAA. Was in AAA until early June of my 2nd year when I finally got called up.

I played well enough (and the rest of the Tigers were horrible enough) that I got selected as our All-Star rep despite only having a month+ in the bigs. Went on to win ROY honors.

Started off year 3 playing pretty well so far, but the Tigers remain hot garbage. Trying to get traded as quickly as possible.

Made it to the WS and almost lost due to crap at 1B. Mariners signed Bellinger and refused to play him at 1. Instead of putting him there they put a CF with no second position there. It was horrible throwing to first. You just knew they were dropping it.

So at the start of training camp they asked me to move from 3B to 1B. I obliged and have been gold glove worthy. 92 Arm Str, 88 Arm A, 82 fielding before gear. Now I can just focus on fielding during my training sessions.
