How to go about starting Franchise?

    Need some thoughts here fellas...

So what I usually do is go to roster resource and get all the opening day rosters and set everything up to reflect OD.

But since OD rosters won't be set for a ****ing long time cuz of this stupid pandemic, they have projected 26 man rosters on there right now... I'm not sure if I should go to the site next Thursday and get those rosters to get started with my Franchise.

I mean 95% of MLB rosters you know the guys who will make the team and what not, it's just those 5% that are sometimes surprises on who makes the OD roster.

Just still not sure what to do.

In this unique instance, how about you make the call for that 5%? Then see how you did if/when life/baseball resumes.

Yeah, I do things in a similar way. But with everything going on, I'm just winging it. Assuming we still get a season this year, it's not gonna be for a few months. And well most likely get maybe 1 roster update until season starts(just a guess). So yeah, I'd say just go best judgement. At this point nothing is gonna be perfect

get the rosters the way you want 'em & ‘‘play ball!’’

          it's better than the alternative

Yep. If you're ready to start playing then that is the best solution. Otherwise who knows how long this delay will be.

I was going to try and follow all the real world transactions and injuries this year, but that's not going to happen so I'll just start by use Ridins updated rosters with the projected lineups / rotations and let the CPU do whatever it wants to.
