Re: Two Way Players
Finally got one.
-Minor league games DO NOT COUNT
-the player gets an icon next to their name in the same place as an AS star or top prospect marker
-they will not gain a secondary position or any other indicator on their player card
-you still can't add them to the lineup
-there is still only one stamina bar for everything
-if your two-way guy is in the bullpen he will (seemingly) DH every day
Still need to test 2-way starters and multiple 2-ways on one team, will report back in new findings I haveComment

Re: Two Way Players
I did one with Ohtani, McKay, Lorezen, and Cronenworth all on the same team. What questions do you have about SP vs RP, and multiple on one team?Comment

Re: Two Way Players
Am very curious about this as well since I’m on the fence on purchasing. I control all 30 teams in franchise so you can kind of work around some things but it’s damn tedious.
Hopefully it just doesn’t auto DH a lot of the 2 way guys like it did last year. I just don’t think the logic is there yet to rotate around from hitting/pitching and the stamina issue I’m still unsure if they have a plan for.Comment

Re: Two Way Players
Two-way player feature is broken I have hit every qualification with Michael Lorenzen and Brandon McKay and have yet to be designated as two-way players

Re: Two Way Players
DH SHOULD count to this rule but maybe the game doesn't count DH? and he keep counting as a 14 pitcherComment

Re: Two Way Players
So Lorenzen and McKay just got 2-way status after they hit 75 at bat anyone know why that is I thought it was 20 game started with three appearancesComment

Re: Two Way Players
In the updated roster the rule is working as it should. Ohtani is a 2-way player and the angels have 14 pitchers on the mlb roster (including him) which means he's not counting against the cap of 13. If you remove the designation, it says there are too many pitchers on the roster.
Also, the two-way designation option is not grayed out while the designation is Yes. It appears you can only edit it from yes to no. Once it is no, it grays out.
What still sucks is there is no way to have him bat/play a position if you don't directly go into the lineup screen each game, which means he'll never hit in sims without intervention.Comment

Re: Two Way Players
In the update, it should say "yes" instead of "no," (I even tested the rule in franchise with him) but some people have apparently had it not work right even with the updated roster when loaded into franchise, which I guess is in-line with the rest of the roster glitches.Comment
