Babe Ruth started off as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox but Babe Ruth played most of his career in right field for the Yankees.
He wouldn't get as many at-bats as a pitcher so he was put in right field so they could incorporate his talent at the plate he hit 714 lifetime home runs.
Back then the baseball wasn't alive baseball like today and he didn't use steroids to hit all those home runs he would eat a dozen hot dogs before the game.
I think the show created a terrific life like looking Babe Ruth

What I did and 19 was I would start Babe Ruth as picture batting cleanup I would put the right Fielder batting ninth and after Babe Ruth pitched to one batter I would switch him to right field and then one batter later I would bring in my starting pitcher to replace original right fielder

He is also in there as a batter as well. although with less than stellar stats

There’s 2 Babe Ruth players both pitchers. One with worse numbers though.

I don’t understand why they have two of the same player for a few players. And it’s so stupid babe is a pitcher only. If they must have two of him one must be a batter with maxed stats mostly for hitting.

He will not be in the lineup automatically as DH when not pitching. That only happens automatically sometimes which is annoying.

what ive been doing is substituting him before i throw the first pitch in the game into RF. After i posted the original question on him friday, someone mentioned needed to have him bat/field for 20 games before he becomes a true two way player (which is stupid since hes actually YES for two way in his edit player.) ive yet to test that theory out though

There is an entire thread about it on tbeshownation forums and the recommendation is to contact support to give feedback asking them to add babe back as a hitter as well

True. But sadly it means nothing. That just means he won’t suck in RF if you play him there as a substitute. Otherwise it does nothing that I can tell.

Originally I thought and hoped it’d mean the AI would place him in the lineup every game he doesn’t start. But it doesn’t.
